Injuries! What team has been hurt the most from them

Featured Replies

Rockcastle County:

Tanner Perkins: Knee

Cole Abney: Knee

Derek Thacker: Leg

Zack Burkhart: Knee

Brandon Burkhart: Hip, Shoulder

Michael Deboard: Arm

Raj Patel: Knee

Dustin Bishop: Liver

Jordan Robinson: Collar Bone

Steve Trimble: Knee

Shawn McHone: Knee

Dylan Thacker: Ankle

Nick Miracle: Knee

Jerry Denny: Leg

Jeff Smith: Shoulder

10 of those were starters. The sad thing is that Rock has not had their starting lineup from week 1 in any game since Wayne County, week 2 of the season. 8 of those injuires were season ending. I can't remember Rock even being this banged up.

CCH sure has been hurt by them. When you start the year with so many new players and a new coach with the schedule they've faced and then add in injuries to 2 of your 3 best players plus other starters, to say the least, it hurts.

TRIMBLE COUNTY- They lost All-stater David Bird, that may be as good as 10 other players.

To me, St. Xavier's loss for three weeks of star running back Deuce Finch at playoff time on the heels of losing starting quarterback Ben Zoeller for several weeks is a big hurt!

Joe Roskoph for Lynn Camp. One of the top rushers in the state, tore his ACL 2 weeks ago. HUGE blow to a run oriented LC team that was leading the state in rushing per game. We only average between 25-30 kids a year, so losing even 1 is felt, especially when it was someone like this young man and what he brought to the table for us!!!

North Oldham

NG-broken leg

OB-broken thumb

Rb- ACl

Wr-sep shoulder

that is really 8 starters

That's kind of what we are going through at Lawrence County. New system with about 10 or 11 kids that started or played a lot that have been out. We are finally getting a few of our kids back. The out of confrence teams we've played in KY are like 49-6 so all that combined has been tough. I feel like we are starting to gel right now though. I'm really proud of the kids they way they have battled the adversity with a great attitude. I hope it's going to make us stronger the next few weeks!

Lincoln County lost senior offensive tackle Nathan Bustle to a season ending knee injury, this was his first season back after battling Leukemia.

WOW! I knew they were banged up, but I didn't know it was this bad!!!!

Can't say that GCHS is the worse but we did loose #53 Brent Yates to a L2L3 Break, he was the very heart of the Musketeers but it is wonderful to see on the sideline and last week he didn't need his walker to stand on the side lines.:thumb:

Bishop with a Liver? I hope that is nothing serious. Football injuries are part of the game, Illness is not. Hope the young man is OK.
