  1. A lot of good young talent in this game. Enjoyed watching the Reed boys, they are some kind of quick. Grant has 2 freshman that are pretty good. Think Hammonds had 24 and 9 while Guffey had something like 10, 8, 6, and 2 or 3 block shots.
  2. Love that kid! Braves have put together a nice season.
  3. I wish the Khsaa would mandate that the entire region play each other once a year. This way each coach sees everyone. It might help with these voting issues. I did say MIGHT.

  5. Absolutely, 6:00 is a strange time for this big game!!
  6. Please tell us how you really feel. LOL. And I totally agree with you.
  7. Draw or Seed, I just wish it was the same across the state. Lets all play by the same rules.
  8. Very impressive win for Grant, especially considering playing without Jack Epperson who suffered an injury the last game against Owen. Grant started 2 Freshman who both played very well.
  9. Heard he was at the Georgetown/Lindsey Wilson game this past Saturday.
  10. Didn't like the way EKU played at all. Seemed like every possession was 1 pass and a forced contested jumper. Ugly basketball.
  11. Braves with some very balanced scoring over the 3 games. Robinson- 14 ppg Dawalt - 12 ppg Hammonds - 12 ppg Guffey - 12 ppg Epperson- 9 ppg. 2 nice wins and an overtime defeat to 3 very solid teams. Especially considering that Ben Vickers rolled his ankle in the first game and didn’t play in the final two.
  12. Very surprised by this score. Can anyone explain this? I thought all the talent was supposed to stay at SC this year.
  13. Grant with a “struggle win.” But, a win no doubt. Tough game.
  14. I've seen Grant play twice now and have been impressed. They had a very nice win on the road at Woodford and played solid at South Oldham. They have two nice bigs (Dawalt and Epperson) who can put on a show in warmups. They have two very good guards who can shoot it (Robinson and Guffey who is a freshman). And Vickers is a crafty point guard who is hard to guard. Hammonds another freshman and Scalf give them some good minutes off the bench.
