Since when does admonishing a person or organization that can not play with in the rules, and then have the gall to stand on ceremony, and tell the world how good they are, a classless act. Do you also praise a doped up horse, a athlete on steroids or maybe the Enron situation attracts your admiration. It was a situation that put a stink on thats schools athletic program for a long time, be a good band wagon for you to jump on after all!

You mean to tell me those cheating, lying, conniving (def. to pretend ignorence or fail to take action to something one ought to oppose) little angles are eligible for post season competition? That is a absolute slap in the face to high school football in Ky. I say all the class A teams get together and refuse to play them. And to all you LCA fans this statement does not come from fear, we whipped you regardless of your indiscretions.

All you "experts" out there crack me up, you know nothing of the situation, but all have an opinion,and you know what they say about those! Let the boy enjoy the proccess, it is up to his parents, his coach, and himself, as to what his future brings. "If hes big time"? how does that change anything in your little world, Hes big time enough to get some attention, congrats young man, have fun riding the wave, you have earned it, don't liston to the wantabes, or almost was, haters! I am sure a coach of Rash's caliber would not just put a statement like that out there without some pretty solid info. Being a Jr, I believe the offers to Seniors have a priority to recruiters.

Beechwood was visited by UK last week. They talked to Mainello and Davis, UC had called for more info on Mainello, Tiepil and Davis and had set up a meeting with Mainello. Coach Rash has made all the contacts, put together film and has shown the athletes that if they show the desire and work ethic he will bend over backwords for his boys.

I can not believe that. What a save your butt letter. This man should show his athletes the true lesson to be learned here, be responsable for your actions and move on. The boo hoos about losing players is touching, but moot. Perhaps he misunderstood the rules but I think not, A school that lawyered up as fast as they did to pay the fine and squash any further investagation knows the rule well, too well. This was a calculated risk on the part of LCA, and at 13k it will payoff for them. If I hear that schools name in the next decade it will be to soon.

All said and done LCA, with all of its behind closed door cheating could not realize the prize in the first sport of the year, football. Congrats to the rest of the 1a teams for playing within the rules. Cudos to the kids that did it the right way at LCA, and the parents that sacrafised. Shame on the parents of the athletes that took the handout, that they had the gall to give this team a black eye it will not soon recover from, if ever. Being a father of one of the players that took LCA down, I can only feel for the teams that LCA took out of the playoffs, it would have been an honor to play a "true " champion.

In district 1---3, Beechwood again is the lone horse, they re-load this year with speed in stead of size, don't get me wrong they still have a huge base including Mainello, 6'5" 260 NK All Star on O line,and All State Dend HM, Miller 6'4" 250 did a great job filling in at the end of the season and throughout the playoffs, Miracle not sure on size but around 6'3" 250 who before season ending injury was showing promise. Skill positions are in great shape, Tiepel, huge talent just came in to his own last year, in a shared backfield actually out gained feature back in a ltd role, also plays DB, Joe Daniels, great 2007 even with injuries, Brady Slusher at TE and Lb was the difference maker in several games last year, including State, the only question mark is qb, still a toss up. This should anchor a base of talented kids. Dayton had a good run last year, but lose to many graduating seniors. The black and gold tigers should not lose any ground, but don't see them making any headway to give Beechwood any problems. Have not looked very closely at Ludlow who they kept or lost, I just dont know, maybe future coach can fill us in. That leaves Bishop Brossart, 2nd year program, well they have a ways to go.

Dominic has had alot of looks from D1 scools, South Carolina just requested tapes,to go along with FL and Micigan State. He received All State HM and District All Star Ist team D status. Nieko, all though he put up better numbers than Bankemper this year, played second fiddle to the talented RB, and still got a HM nod in All Star voting, has the talent to put up "Farris " like numbers this year! Dominic and Nieko have been pushing each other in the weight room since the season ended, cant wait to see where these two horses take the Tigers!

Congrats to all the players that recieved this award. Being from NK I hope this doesnt sound like sour grapes, but do the people who vote on this ever get out of the office? I have never seen such a logistcly lopsided outcome, unless it is always like this, I dont know first year follwing KY all state. I am sure the boys that were voted in,were well deserving, but tell me how NKY can place three teams in the finals, if you include Boone in the round before, thats 4 teams, take two titles and have this outcome. Who votes on this, I dont have a clue, maybe someone can enlighten me

First let me say what a great job your team did, I did not expect that! Your line and L backers did what nobody else could do this season, stop our running game. My son had the pleasure of taking on Hayden all day, said he was the hardest hitter he faced all year. See ya next year!!
