That was second and third teams playing at the times you stated, those boys practice as hard and sacrifise as much as the starters(all teams) how can you tell them not to play the game! By putting them in you are not trying to run the score up!

I would love to see BB do something to win this one, but I don't see it happening!

With the exception of some obvios calls I thought HC played with alot of heart. I hope the QB is not seriosly injured, he is the offensive stud on that team. Tiepel again had his MVP night, 3 TDs and 247yds against a game defence. Love to watch him run, so fluid. Beechwoods D played well, alot of holding going on and not called, which seems to be part of the "no call zone" that the tigers seem to be in. Otherwise a good game, congrats to HC for hanging in there against a great team.

Leatherneck that makes two of us, and I posted accordingly. My evaluation of the game was spot on, was not comparing them to anybody but themselves! If they truly saw it differently, aplogies. And leatherneck the key word is scrimmage! I know we are not close to the Bluebirds, on any level, but the difference is I know it.

I am pressed for words as to the performance of the Black Cats, This was once a program I had the utmost respect for. Today they showed a side I never hope to see again in HS Football. Chop blocks not by one guy, but the entire line, at once . This with the obvious intent to injure was, can only be called from the side line , a planned delibrate attemtpt to injure someone and thier play throughout the game obviosly echoed this. Shame on you Blackcats, shame on your coach. Keeping there first team in when Beechwood had there third was again proof to me of this! You lost, move on. Dont take the road you took today!

:lol:I was not impressed by either team, watched the game three times and found nothing that lit me up. Daytons D did play better than the O, but thats not saying alot, the Tigers with the exception of #33 and #23 showed nothing as well, Ive heard all about the D line, did they miss the bus cause they sure wernt there! The formentioned RBs played hard, I liked 33 better than 23, but good lord someone teach those kids some basics, PROTECT THE BALL. I guess they will make the playoffs, Dayton because they play the Mustangs, and the Tigers because of the record. WOW:lol:

I have read many posts in here over the last couple of years, Bashing the Teams that have taken it to the next level. Two that seem to top the list are consitantly Beechwood and Highlands. Do they deserve all the sideways comments, do these folks think that the Josh Conners and Adam Dempsys drop from the sky? Or that Nieko Tiepel and Dominic Mainello just walked on the field and had that talent/ HECK NO! The programs that they are associated with have given them the knowledge and training and they have supplied th blood, sweat and grit to be the best of ths best. I put the blame on the teams that settle for mediocracy year in and year out, they could be on top if they chose to. Put the Ludlow players in the Beechwood systym and the Tigers success would surface, put Dixie under Highlands supervision you would see State rings. They just dont settle for second best! I call for the rest to step up!!

With the success that Rigdon has had running the ball this year, that play is in the Tigers book. They caugt them slanting and took advantage of a poorly called defensive play. With the line that they have what ever would make tigers93 think that way, GOOD CALL, GOOD LINE, GOOD TEAM!

As I read through the posts and come accross the Highland fans supporting there team with 2 and 3 pages of compliments and support for the players and the school. And the LCA faithfull with the same 2 and 3 pages of compliments for coaches, players and all that means something to them. And here it is Thursday and what do I see for posts? The HIGHLANDS game next year vs the Tigers! You know we are playing football in Fort Mitchell this year! We are State Champions. We have the only D1 commitment in the area and 2 more to follow soon! We are undefeated! How about some support!! Here I'll try again with a prediction post.:argue:
