  1. BIG ADAM DEMPSY!!! Birds go as he goes, and so far he goes well!!:dancingpa
  2. Spoken like a true blue fair weather fan, Im sure the boys can count on your support when they get a little better now cant they.:bunny:
  3. Senior day is not a sporting event, it is the schools way of recognizing outgoing seniors. If this kid had played any in the past couple of years I could maybe understand your point, maybe. He was handed the job after injury. and the 2 times I saw him play, I would have sat him as well. It was his job to lose and he did.It was the coaches game time decision to play whom he thought gave CCH the best chance to win, do you think he knew he would get heat, I am sure. At least he put the school first unlike some of the posters. If the coaches went by your thinking on senior day, they would need to start all seniors regardless of skill or talent. If it was me I would rather sit than make a token social appearence that means more to the high brow alumni than me. Its called competitve SPORTS not HIGH TEA. By the way I am not a CCH fan, farthest thing from it. But Brossart did what you hired him for.:argue:
  4. I agree, the CCH faithful have been on a witch hunt all year, its time to end this nonsense. Accounts of this game are serving whom? Players play ,coaches coach and alumni should shut up and watch!
  5. The way I remember it it ended in a sack, the play before was a missed pass, two attempts with a QB sneak failed before that, but then again my memory is shot as well!
  6. Have to disagree, with the exception of big plays both played pretty eva fumble for TD and Kellys punt return were the biggies, dont get me wrong NCC whipped us, big plays are earned not a matter of luck! For the most part they both played great D, the Tiger goal line stand was classic, and on the other hand NCCs come back from that set back was just as memorable!:dancingpa:dancingpa
  7. They might have something to say, but if LCA plays as they did tonight there wont be much they can do but talk about it! Congrats to LCA looks as though the D has found its stride :scared:Hope to see you in the Ville!
  8. Congrats to the Breds, truly a well coached team from the top down. NT was not in top form and probably should have rested, but this game is second only to State for these kids and I understand him wanting to play. As good as Kelly looked, Kues was more impressive, smart, and accurate, a true field general, my hats off to you young man. Beechwoods coaches were on the wrong page all night, OC can not adjust to the game against a class team like the Breds, he was playing way above his head. The road to the carpet is in the future for both these teams, good luck and stay healthy.
  9. Imo the Dixie squad has made major improvements from the begining of the year, I give the nod to Dixie 28-24
  10. Nieco was sitting in my house Saturday I think I would have noticed a broken foot, as far as your credible sources goes, I would tend to believe his father over the Bellevue rumor mill. My credible sources tells me the Beechwood staff uses a mixture of eye of newt, powdered bat wings, and a spell cast by a famous vodoo high priestess. What ever the problem was with Nieco Friday night and I stress the word WAS it didnt seem to be to serious seeing his stats, and that he played the game till taken out with many of the starters. It is Niecos, his parents and coaches to deal with, not your bad sources.
  11. Never said we would beat them, said we have the tools to give them a run, meaning we would not roll over just because they are who they are, make the playing field even, 40 of thier guys against 40 of ours, and it could be a different ball game. Big schools such as these two have the advantage of numbers. With that said, they are still heads above the tigers and I was not comparing the two, simply responding to a non sequitur post from Fc.
  12. Man, I hope so! They have gained confidence with a good ,no very good first half defensive showing, but nothing is going to change the fact there are 2 halves, and the Beechwood D will show up as well!
  13. Im a big Adam Dempsy fan, so I agree with him, but to give the nod to the whole line on both O and D, Im not sure, not that I have seen anyone else to compare them to, I would have to think, on defense, the ammount of attention other teams give to a player has a lot to do with it, you know a player that makes a coach change the game plan.
  14. Fiirst of all I have never compared Buckler to Tiepel so why are you bringing him into this? Last time I checked this was a game of competition, 11 boys against 11 boys. There are classes of schools all having to do with size of student body. I have heard enough about socio economic advantages and the advantage our gene pool gives us, come on, get a grip. Not every parent is well to do in the district, believe me. So stop your whining and giving all the reasons your schools cant develop a program and just do it. I am sure we would not beat the Trinity or Saint x teams but we would at least have the tools to give them a run, and there would be no excuses the next day about devine intervention!
  15. My problem! It sounds like the rest of the litttle river gang has the problem, they tout him as one of the best in the state. He has proved nothing in games of substance. He did well against the 0-8 teams but was shut down against NCC, Lloyd and Beechwood the only teams with any kind of line. And perhaps his pompas guarantee of a win got my attention as well.
  16. Why wouldnt they it was only 7-0 at half.
  17. He has had back and ankle problems all year, hard to say what this was, I do know there were several first team players that were out, or playing with some kind of flu like illness.
  18. Not sure as of yet, my on the field sorce isnt home yet! Ill post when available.
  19. He was just that, I would say he didnt have 40 yds. And he did get his touches. The kid is game ill give him that but he just could not break that line and I am sure the Bvue coach was aware of that. He did well against the 0-8 teams but this was a different kinda beast. :irked::banana:
  20. Beechwood started off slow, why they keep on starting these games throwing is beyond me! When they got back to the running game all went as you would expect. Tiepel played injured all night, not his usual game. Joe Collisimo and Joe Daniels picked it up well. Bellevues Offense was terrible, the so called running game was put in check by the Beechwood line, I would guess they didnt crack a hundred yds. Buckler was a non factor. Goes to show the distance between #1 and #2.
  21. Buckler has played well against those that dont. When he comes up against any formidable team his true colors show, I am more impressed with his running mate #33. Buckler doent evan start on many teams in NKY. Tedfromvillahills dont be surprised, causes wrinkles!
  22. Future Coach, I have always respected your posts but I feel you are being misleading here. I cant speak for Cov Cath and there numbers, and as I see it, thats a Catholic school, and I dont believe anyone sends there kids there for athletics alone, education, tradition, and it just being a catholic school has alot more to do with it. But as far as Beechwood goes, you make it sound as if all the athletes come from out of district areas. Yes there are a couple and only a couple of kids that the parents have chosen Beechwood over schools in there area, not for athletics but for academics and yes, If I didnt live in the area I would try to find the means to send my kids there as well. I dont believe any of the parents with the exception of a handfull believe thier kids can play at the Div1 level and those that do are probably right! And they all live right here in Fort Mitchell. No ill will intended towrds you, but that is one of the worst excuses that I have heard yet why teams are not competitive
  23. I remember the game that you speak of, yes we put a running back and 2 lineman in, this was done because Bellevue had put there first team back in for three series prior to Beechwood responding. Next time you want to tell a story, tell the whole thing, not just the part that makes you right!
