For a big percentage of the boys(seniors) this is it, they have spent the last 4 years dedicating their life to this game, with the exception of a few weeks a year, they spend preparing or playing. For them to sit out do to an injury in the playoffs has to be devistating for them in their SR year, they cant let go of it! It is case by case, but I say if they can handle it, go for, get your last thrills.

It should be quite obvious that I have studied this game, I apologize if my opinions dont jive with yours, but remember they are opinions, they mean nothing to all but some as it seems. Always leads to defeat, I think not, I no longer play, coaches dont listen, so what possible effect would my support of my district have on the outcome of this contest.I did not know how sensitive some have become and I truly apologize to those I have offended with my optimism. As far as saying I do not come accross with class,a difference of opinion designates class how.' I will stop supporting Dayton and get on FHS, will you love me then?:bunny:

I am aware of two Metcalf and Tillman good players and your 2nd string QB, forgot his name, But I dont see the QB beeing productive just dont . With that said WR no threat. Ive seen the formations they run, Ive seen the defensive scheems and still hold true to my opinion, and it is just that, an opinion, I could be way out there on this, and that would make you right and Illl be humble and say I was wrong, Matter of fact ill buy you a coke and a dog when Beechwood comes to town, that is if you still have an appitite.

P.S. I have been Daytons biggest naysayer the past couple of years, Im sure many will testify to that, this is just how strongly I feel an upset here.

I have seen Daytons last couple of games in person and 1 on TV and of coarse when they played Beechwood, and have seen three game films of Frankfort. Dayton has come a long way since the beating we gave them early in the year, both D and O line are playing at a differnt level with twice the intensity border line nasty! And thats a good thing. QB is head and shoulders ahead of Frankforts QB and for that matter ours too. Granted the films I saw were early games for Frankfort, D line looked confused and out of position all night, great outside speed but LBs were not hitting assignments. O line was fair at best. Quan, well he is from a different planet, that good. But a good LB hawking his every move will make him just good not super. FHS seemed to have trouble with a mobile QB and that is what they are getting and the lad can toss the rock too, and on the run.Last year we put our most physical player on EJ and took, no stole his game from him. take Quan away and they are a fair 1a team, and I believe strongly that Dayton can do just that.

Oh so you are the do all and say all guy, I truly thought it was a myth that one person knows it all, I should have realized it though, just look at the logo on your hat!

No worries Dayton, if it goes wrong ,they have to go through Fort Mitchells or Bellevue soon enough! We will bring home the prize for all of us to share!

Again I refer to last years Bwood game, they could run circles around us and thats what they did run in circles!

:laugh: Thats funny! Trust me it was said in more than one post, as far as Dayton goes, for some reason we have them beat before the bus arrives have for a couple of years. Have gone to three of their games and they are a much better team that showed up to play Beechwood. Sherlock can flat out take over a game, very talented, compsed QB. Have seen films of this years Frankfort team and was not as impressed as I should have been, Quan is big talent but can be stopped, if Dayton has any sence. they need to have Richardson, I think his name is, spy him all night,thats what we did to the very talented E.J Fields last year with Bankemkemper , and we had him ready to quit! I'll stick with Dayton in this one.

I think your reading this all wrong, as far as this Tiger fan goes,I could care less who coaches at CCH.And as far as all the HHS fans I know I am sure they dont either. Nor do I believe Beechwoods or HHS coaches spend sleepless nights pondering this. All I am saying is the guy was well within his rights starting who he thought was best for the game, regardless when the desicion wa made. They want to fire him then do it, stop whining that he did this and he did that. just do it or put him in charge of the day care program over there, it seems to be what they want.:scared:

I agree Dixie has made major strides. If Dixies coach would have believed in them as much as the players did at the start of the year, I am sure they would have had a more favorable draw. All the luck in the world to Dixie,great season!
