I would think they'll see that zone against them the rest of the year. It wasn't pretty to watch if your a CC fan. In fact it wasn't pretty to watch as just a BB fan.

Happy birthday to your mother. That's funny you don't like the HS games at the BOKC, that's the only reason I am going go to this game. If it was at NCC or Holmes the parking and seating would be terrible.

Title IX has nothing to do where they play, the boys and girls Regional tournaments were not always played at thr same venue.

With that logic the high school girls should be moved to Regents. Both the NKU womens and mens teams will out draw the HS girls. Realisticly, only the 3rd and the 6th will be a problem. If the NKU men win their game on the 3rd they will more than likely have to go to Florida to play either North Florida or Florida Gulf Coast, who by the way are both better then any team in the OVC.

Do you all realize that the BOKC in NKU's home court. Your dreaming if you think the NKU men will play in Regents. I could see the 9th region girls being moved to Regents, plenty of room for them.

I'd love to go to this game but don't want to get there by 4:00. Maybe this game should be played at neutral court like BB vs CC game.

5089 according to NKU website. I know when I went online to buy my tickets there were only 95 tickets left in the lower bowl and it holds 5000. When I got to the game people were sitting up top also.

First of all there were over 5000 paid at the West Virginia game add another 1000 for students and your at 6000. That was an entire season at Regents. Also, if you want to recruit good student athletes to come to your school you don't show them Regents Hall. Ask some of the current players and they'll tell you that one of the reasons they came to play at NKU was because of the great facilities. NKU is only in there 3rd year of Div. I, give it some time. Remember when Xavier played NKU ever year and had 2000 at their games. It wasn't that long ago that UC was having trouble getting fans to their Basketball games. Sure a 5000 seat arena might have made more sense for basketball only, but they've had great concerts and events out there were they've needed more. This way as NKU gets bigger they'll have the capacity, and they will get bigger and better. That's why the Ohio Valley Conference wanted no part of them.

I really can't believe what I'm reading on this post. NKU was a very good Div. II program that went to the finals twice and nobody showed up at their games even though it was great basketball. Now they have doubled their attendence (although still not good ) have played UK, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Navy, Florida Gulf Coast, Mercer, Morehead, and had West Virginia on campus this year. If that's not going in the right direction then what is? I don't like the expensive concessions or the parking, but what division I program is free. Buy a season ticket and you'll get free parking. The BOK Center is one of the best places in the country to watch a game. You should be proud that it's in our coommunity.

Giesler didn't play against Boone last year, he was still playing football.

There was an announcement at NCC that the game was at Nippert. He meant to say Newport. It was just a mistake.

Even though NCC is a little beat up with some injuries, I believe they're still a top 10 team and should be able to run on Newport.
