  1. Hornsby is teaching at Ludlow, and he was an assistant varsity coach last year. I really don't believe that he would apply for the job though, he seemed pretty happy being an assitant.
  2. Well then, I'd have to wish Coach Childress the best with whatever he does.
  3. Yes thats right. I have known Jordan as a friend for a long time and I would always ask him if he was going to go back. He has a very busy schedule. The conversations have only changed since Borchers left.
  4. Do you know which coach is going? Is it coach childress? I know him and Randy have coached together a long time.
  5. I have talked with Jordan a couple of times over the past few months and he said he would return as long as the new coach hired him back. What is going on with the other Ludlow assistants?
  6. Is Logan still going to be coaching at Ludlow? He was a young firey coach that connected well with the kids.
  7. I don't think they have any candidates at the moment. The job just opened up on Monday.
  8. I wouldn't get your hopes up Ludlow faithful. While Hensley was a great coach at Ludlow, I don't think he's going to come back onto this side of the river to coach. I could be wrong though.
  9. So does anyone know what kind of schedule Cooper is looking at?
  10. IMO with the enrollment at Cooper in a few years they could be a contender. At first it's going to be a little rough but after the kids digest the system and get older there's no reason why Cooper can't be a winning school.
  11. I agree with you. Going to a school like Cooper when every year there are going to be more and more kids enrolled in the school, the program should develop very nicely.
  12. Congrats Randy. It's going to be exciting to see this Cooper program build up over the next couple of years.
  13. I have been told the same thing. Congrats to Randy on getting the job. I have known him for a long time and I'm sure he will do a great job. Kids who are playing at Cooper had better be ready for a firey head coach who has great passion for the game of football.
  14. They have hired a new coach and he informed his former team today that he took the job.
  15. I've played softball with some of my old buddies down there a couple times and I believe it was a couple of days after it rained. I swear there were waves in the infield.
  16. I know this may be a little out there, but does anyone know of any pretty good athletes that have to make the transfer to Cooper?
  17. That's a good question. Kids that choose to go there won't be held out of sports will they?
  18. Where exactly is Cooper at?
  19. Doubt you'll see any change in the offensive scheme. While Ludlow does have 3 very capable RB's, they don't really have the type of offensive line that can establish an I-form offense. Ludlow is best suited to stay with the spread and run everything from the shotgun formation.
  20. Woodie should do a great job out at Walton Verona. I look forward to watching WV play this year.
  21. If I am not mistaken Mark Childress was the varsity assistant and Clary was the JV coach that year. So Chilly would have been making those important calls from fist. :ylsuper:
  22. Man and I thought for sure Highfield was going to be coach...
  23. I'm a little confused about why that's funny?
  24. Is Woodie McMillen going to be the head coach of the varsity program?
  25. I never stated that at all. I said it is a decision that should be given to people with a degree in education.
