I know Dixie was AAA in 88 and 89 for sure. They were in the district with Highlands and Cov Cath. Only top 2 teams went to playoffs and Dixie was always the third wheel.

The other thing coaches are teaching our life lessons. There maybe a reason someone is not playing the fans do not know about. He could have poor grades, getting punished, bad attitude, not putting in the work, etc. Fans want the best athlete playing but if he isn't "doing work", a coach maybe playing a lesser playing willing to work his tail off. This isn't the NFL or college, high school coaches are shaping young lives.
