nWo
I haven't done a music theme forecast in awhile so with us having a chance for isolated strong to severe storms I thought I would do one with some music. Since we have been stuck in this weather pattern for a while I thought of the following song. "Let's do it again" from the Staple Singers. Multiple rounds of thunderstorms will be possible Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. The primary hazard will be the potential for more heavy rainfall. In addition, some storms could be strong or severe, with damaging winds and large hail. Given wet soil conditions and high water levels in area creeks, rivers, and streams, some flooding may be possible in areas of repeated heavy rainfall. The Storm Prediction Center has the entire state of Kentucky along with Indiana and southwest Ohio in a category 1 Marginal Risk Area for isolated strong to severe storms on Sunday. I will update Sunday morning. Our storm chances continue on Monday also.
Kentucky Windage
Was working in Foster, KY today. Rain hit somewhere around 6 today. It rained for about 30 minutes. Rain gauge said we picked up an inch and a quarter in that time. Winds weren't bad, lightning all over though.
