sweet16
Fulton City has played well but has not really played anybody. I am looking forward to when the play Mayfield. IF they can play with them then they are for real.
cardinalsvoice
Congrats to the Bulldogs on their great start to the season...nice to see that last seasons ending has not affected them this year. I am looking forward to the showdown at War Memorial in about a month to what should be for home field advantage throughout the playoffs...of course if Mayfield gets past Fulton County in two weeks...don't want to get too ahead of ourselves...but great win and great start to the season. GoBigRed
Yep, gotta give Fulton City credit, they probably don't have more than 70 boys in the school and can produce teams with good talent.
cusin_gr
Fulton City has some under class comming up thru the ranks with real talent. And also with the city starting a pop warner league will help in the future. As it has been in the past the first time these boys have played ball was in JH. just 4 fun
I wonder what the possibility would be for Fulton Co and Fulton City to one day merge..Both always have very good athletes, just not enough depth to play 4 qtrs with the stronger teams...They would still most likely be a 1a team, even if they did and I could see them being very competitive

GoBigRed
Yeah, from what I have always heard, the two school systems are like oil and water, they just don't mix.
