Looking at the picture, I'd be fairly surprised to see that stadium be completed before the end of the season...but it could be possible. However, if they don't have most or all of the subdrainage system for the turf in place yet, (which I can't tell from the picture), then I would confidently say that there will not be any games played on that field this year.

The building in the background is the bathrooms/concessions/entrance and the other obviously, are the stands. They are starting to do some digging on the field but I think when they did the main layout of the field and moved all the dirt they ran all of the pipes for water and drainage, but I could be wrong.

Looks like the drainage is in, you can see the pipes sticking up out of the ground the complete length of the field.

I just noticed the pipes today. They run straight down the middle of the field. It seems like they are moving along at a steady pace. As much as we need the rain, I would really like to see this big project done before the end of the season!

I took five weeks from beginning to end to install the turf at Boone County's pee wee field. I am only speaking about the turf, I know there is a lot more going in at Campbell.

It is going to be one great sports complex on that hill. I already love the Baseball setup. Not great for viewing, but everything else I like.

Does CC lose some students/athetes to Highlands or NCC? If so, this facility could curb that for a bit.

Campbell Cty Camels.....complex on a hill? Please tell me they will refer to it as "The Hump"!

Haven't seen it since Baseball Season but as I recall wasn't it on two humps (event better) Basebasll on one Hump and Stadium on the other.

Is everything else in? Are there seats in the bleachers, concession, bathrooms?

They are putting what looks to be lime sand down over the membrane today. They still have about 3/4 of the field to cover with the membrane, and connect the drains on about 1/2 of the field. Both go pretty quick. If everything goes along at the pace I've seen the past two days, it should be ready for turf next week. They have all the main frame up for the bleachers, but the seats need to be bolted on. Looks as though the concession building is complete. The track still has to go in. There is still a lot of work to be done before it's ready for game day.

Let me ask, should BBHS be able to use a field when avalible so they do not have to pay to use Scotts field for games. IMO they should get permission since 85% of kids that go there are from Alexandria and pay taxes to build CCHS and all their "Extras".

Also in the post that asked if Brossart wanted the 1st game on the field I assume they wanted them to play CCHS in that game. If that is truly the case I would have turned it down as well since they are not ready to play a 6A school and Christian the new field with their blood.
