ColonelCrazy
^ Hardly anyone does. Louisville is in a good spot. Actually a very good spot. They let one get away tonight. Being they were the dog, that's ok. Louisville is in a good spot? They're 8-5 in conference play. Their closest thing to a signature win is Vandy, who was without Elezi at the time. They'll probably go 4-1 in their last 5 games, but 3-2 is not out of the question.
Bluto
UL blew this one. That being said, Syracuse does NOT deserve to retain their #2 ranking. Syracuse should have lost this game.
jericho
I didn't realize Syracuse was so bad, to actually think UL about beat them. The Big East is the big easy.

Who do you put at #2 then if not Syracuse? Until they lose one with all their starters in the lineup they deserve to be #2.
rockmom
I hate when people put it all on one player! Yes, inexplicable move by Siva at the end. But what about some of those other shots by the rest of the team near the end....or even before? We lost, but a team that many had given up on a month ago held the #2 team to their lowest point total in a first half, and were right in it till the buzzer. Go Cards! CoachBuckett
I blame Rick for lack of adjustments. Theygave us the shot at the foul line. But instead of placing kyle there or someone that could hit a 15 foot shot. Now Russ Smith killed us for about 5 minutes being selfish. Turned it over 6 times in 5 minutes. sportsfan41
^ Unless your studs miss open looks. I think it's very tight again, next matchup. I'll give you that IMO Syracuse is looking to lose and Louisville is ready to make a run. Honestly if Louisville can get things right the end of the season I could still see them winning the Big East tourney and getting a 1 or 2 seed. 2 wins over Syracuse with one of them at Syracuse and they're right there for a 1 seed. MJAlltheWay24
I wonder how that game turns out if Siva doesn't pick up that really dumb third foul with about six minutes to go in the first half. He had been playing really well.

UKMustangFan
UofL let one slip away. They outplayed Syracuse. This is 4 games in the past two weeks I've watched from beginning to end of Syracuse, and they are without a doubt NOT one of the top 3-4 teams in the country. UK, OSU, KU, Mizzo, UNC, & even Duke are all better IMO.

Randy Parker
I blame Rick for lack of adjustments. Theygave us the shot at the foul line. But instead of placing kyle there or someone that could hit a 15 foot shot. Now Russ Smith killed us for about 5 minutes being selfish. Turned it over 6 times in 5 minutes. Agreed. Dieng had as many open looks as he wanted from 12-15 feet. You have to put someone in the middle that the defense has to respect.

You have to put someone in the middle that the defense has to respect. I can't help but think about Miller eating the middle of that zone alive. Because if they come up to guard him, he can dump it down to Jones and Davis.
tcjkbt
Pitino gave Siva an earful after his last blunder. Just didn't understand what the heck he was trying to do. Terrible execution on that last play. You have to win or lose that game with a clean look. Period. IMO Rick should've called his last T.O. when UL got the ball with about 15 seconds to play. I kinow that is a 50/50 decision. He said afterwards that the players knew what to do. Well, it sure didn't look like they did. Also on the free throw with about 2-3 seconds to go, UL let the Syracuse player crash the board and use up more time when he tipped it. It may not have won UL the game but it would have given them a tad more time to get up the floor. Poor FT shooting and the ineffectiveness of Russ Smith and Kuric werte major causes of the loss, too.
