PurplePride92
Probably passed out on Xanax and drown, it has happened before. Bobby Brown was the one who led her to the drugs, hope he is proud of himself, I wonder if he remembers the times he beat her. He is a real loser, I heard the concert he was singing at the crowd booed him. Please. Not even close to Bobby Brown's fault.

halfback20
I am not discounting anyone. She is no different than the addict on the street and deserves no more from us than they do. Might make me a bad person, but I agree.

nWo
While starting my morning devotional I saw this verse of scripture: 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Col 3:12 (KJV) Bowels of mercies, etc—Be merciful, not in act merely, but in spirit and affection. In all cases of this kind let your heart dictate to your hand; be clothed with bowels of mercy—let your tenderest feelings come in contact with the miseries of the distressed as soon as ever they present themselves. dolamite
It is very easy to discount those who have an addiction that hurts them and their family and friends. It is easy to discount them or discard them once they have passed on. We should be praying for them instead of putting them down. It is very easy to pray for those who are on the so called straight and narrow. We should be praying for those who are addicted to drugs and other substances. We should remove the pillar out of our own eyes before we try to remove the speck out of another person's eye. As I have often stated in my bible class: It is easy to pray for those who are already saved, we should be praying for those who aren't. :thumb: Spot on NWO, agree whole heartedly. From experience I now know that not all addicts are just wastes of life like some of you are making them out to be. People who judge people based on their faults make me sick to my stomach. No one on this earth is so high and mighty that they should criticize other people's short commings, even if it ultimately results in their death. We all have faults, some people just happen to have drug addictions. No different than the person who may like to gossip too much around town or has a bad cigarette and coffee habit. We all have faults, we all have vices, much like personalities everyone is different and has their own. The Bible says, "we have all fell short of the glory of God". To me that is one of the most powerful messages in the entire book. There has only been one person to ever walk this earth who could boast and judge others actions, that is Jesus Christ. Unless you think you are on the same level as Jesus Christ you should think next time before you pass judgement on someone else. Just my thoughts. I have met numerous persons with addictions who were still genuinely great people all around. Would do anything for you, very kind, loving, caring, and giving. I have also met addicts who steal, lie, cheat, etc. Very unfair to group the two together and very unfair IMO to judge anyone regardless of circumstance. We all have faults and weaknesses and not one person on this earth or this board should have the right to judge and dismiss another individuals life, regardless of their mistakes. At least that is my opinion, glad to see you think along those same lines NWO, wish there was more people like you.

I've been studying the bible for about 2-3 hours a day for over a year now since I was called to be a deacon at church. That is the main reason I don't get to spend as much time on BGP any more. I agree with your statement 100%. John 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. Some people overcome these struggles, some don't. Same as a life long smoker who tries to quit numerous times but can't. We all have our personal struggles no matter what they are. None of us are perfect we all make mistakes, people just happen to make different mistakes. There are a lot of successful people in our society today with addictions, for most of them the rest of society would probably never know about it. We all make mistakes, we all have slip ups, and we all deal with different personal conflicts. Who are we really to judge one's conflicts when your not in their shoes so to speak. dolamite
She made the same mistake over and over and over and over. Some people will, that's life. There are also cases in which people overcome their addictions and go on to achieve great things. I'm just not the type of person who is going to dismiss ones life simply because they had a drug addiction. To me that is simply a fault just like everyone has their own faults. I am no one to judge how others live their life I can only control my own.
