February 1, 201214 yr Madonna came on the other morning at a spin class and it reminded me she is playing this Sunday at the Superbowl. We already have a thread on debating the merits of her being the halftime act, but are there any Madonna fans or do you have any songs you grew up enjoying? I became a fan of hers one day in the late 80s and MTV ran an all day Madonna marathon of music. Maybe because the music was catchy and I was younger I enjoyed it and did not know any better, but I still like Madonna today because of that day

February 1, 201214 yr I love, love, love Madonna! Of course, being in high school from 80-84, I was right in the midst of the Madonnavolution. I will have to think of which are my "favorite". Right now, I could just start typing songs and wind up with a complete discography. :lol:

Didn't she get nominated for a Grammy for the Music album or song? I like that whole album. Madonna is my favorite female singer. Good song not listed - Borderline. Another favorite of mine - Lucky Star.
