New restaurant going in at the Banks in downtown

Featured Replies

It's a very nice steak for those that like the highest-grade meat. Quite expensive ie Jeff Ruby-ish.

I hope it does well.

Been to the one in Indy a couple times. Very nice.

Mostly corporate clients entertaining with their Corporate AMEX card.

Yea, certainly a little pricey for me. I too wonder if it will be able to survive.

Big fan of Ruth's Chris--Been to the original and many of the others; and have yet to be disappointed. Certainly pricey, but no worse than any of Ruby's, Morton's, etc. Great non-steak dishes as well, and the sides are huge. Hoping there's enough room for them and the Ruby restaurants in Cincy. The one in Louisville is still afloat and the location stinks IMO. A "destination restaurant".

With Ruby's, Morton's and the other new higher end place (can't remember name) are there that many people that eat expensive steaks.

I've had a equal to or better steak for a whole lot less money ... with comparable sides.

Loved Ruth's Chris the one time I went. I liked it better than Ruby's, actually.

I've been there twice. Both times were on an expense account.

Surprised that a Ruth's Chris wasn't here before now. I ate at one in Chicago with friends a while back; sure I won't be able to visit it often, lol.

I did too.

I think its great that they are coming here, but I honestly don't think I'd ever go there. I rarely buy a steak at any restraunt, let alone a pricey place like this.

Is Morton's still open in downtown Cincinnati? I seem to remember hearing that it was closing. How does Ruth's Chris compare to Morton's?

Ruth Chris imo opinion is better than Mortons...I have been to all the top end steak houses around the area and Ruth Chris will be near the top. My favorite has always been the Precinct. It might be because I used to bus tables there back in high school...You really can't go wrong with any of them.. You know your going to pay high dollar when you go..It is what it is...
