Is that how they are doing it? They didn't need to move to go to Holy Cross. Are they moving to try and make a case for Holy Cross eligibility? I believe McClendon already lived in Covington so he was in Holy Cross' district. How does that work under KHSAA rules? If you move within a district does that help with the KHSAA? The same would seem to apply to Scruggs. He already lives in Covington in Holy Cross' district.

Herndon (scored last touchdown in state game on interception) played Varsity football for Scott did not move.

Pouncy (had a younger brother alerady at Holy Cross) did not move.

Maybe it is all in paperwork. Guardianship change out of the district, but dont actually move.

From what I have heard the Campbell kid who is a stud hoops player is actually living or was living with Pouncy. I know its all legit due to it being a Catholic school but "Come on Man ! "

I don't think the rules are different at private schools. I have to believe Holy Cross ran the Campbell situation by the KHSAA. They obviously did with Pouncy because he wasn't allowed to play the first few games of the football season. I never heard the reasoning on how the KHSAA decided he was able to play this year though. I think the KHSAA needs to make it known publicly how they are arriving at these decisions so everyone understands the rules and how the KHSAA interprets them.

Voice of Reason-This is one of the most profound statements I have seen on here. Why should the overriding policy on KHSAA transfers be such a mystery to many??? Many posts about this from all parts of the Commonwealth. Has been happening for years. Parents, players, and administrators shouldn't have to guess what is legit and what isn't. It seems to me that the policy (with any exceptions) could be completed in two paragraphs. Anything that is more complicated than that becomes a judgement call for the KHSAA and provides them far too much power.

If it is Scruggs Koz has got to be happy! Scruggs and Beal in the same backfield I'd love to see a faster duo then them two.

How would Scruggs be eligible to play next year? Is it a year from the date of your last game, or a year from the end of the entire regular season? I know Scruggs didn't play the last few weeks for Holmes.
