December 13, 201114 yr I think Cronin has done a good job at managing this situation. JMO Here's the only thing that doesn't look good. At the press conference after the game he says he's going to decide who will continue to wear a UC uniform and they don't hand out a suspension of more than 6 games. It makes it seem like he didn't mean what he said. Not saying I think anyone should be done for the year but you can't go to one extreme then come up that short.

I think many coaches would have said a lot of the same things that Cronin did, especially with the emotion he was probably dealing with. I'd imagine, without knowing, that the AD and President were more the reason for the six games than Cronin, but who knows.

The coaches and players on each side are not going to fuel the flames in the media by saying anything directed at each other right now. Just how it is... How can saying I am sorry in an press conference "fuel the flames"?

This is one time that guys from both schools can't apologize enough to fix Saturday. I have spent the last 3-4 days really thinking about this. IMO only two kids deserve a full season. The young man that did the stomping of the player and the Kid from UX than ran off at the mouth after the game in the press conference. UX I can't believe they even allowed their kids to attend the press conference after the game.

December 13, 201114 yr "Give UC credit" for what? These schools know a basketball game can turn this way quickly, I give credit to the schools who talk/train their players to not use physical force not to react in this manner. You could have a fight break out every game. That one guy he really wanted to hit some guys...what if he had a weapon? The kids were forced to say they were sorry and did they really mean it?
