I think you are probably right. I think Bama is better than OSU, alot better, but at this point I would like to OSU play LSU.

That's what I said before, either way it's win/win for the SEC. Either 2 SEC teams are playing for the BCS title or LSU plays Oklahoma St and beats the crap out of them, showing every one why it should have been Bama playing LSU.

I really don't think it will be a 6-6 game in the end the second time around.

The ESPN sports nation poll is much much different from our BGP poll. When asked who should play LSU, Alabama or Oklahoma State 69% of voters said Oklahoma State with over 208,000 voters total.

They'll never say it but I would bet LSU had much rather play Oklahoma State. They know they could actually lose to Alabama. After opening up with Oregon and playing through a difficult SEC schedule, Oklahoma State would seem like a scrimmage.

On the rematch situation, don't the NCAA basketball teams play more than once, (North Carolina & Kentucky)? How about the NFL? In the very old days they didn't but now they do.

 

Baseball, I loved it when the Al didn't play the NL, but now they do. So a LSU/Bama rematch isn't that unususal.

I think the point of the BCS was to have 1 play 2. Before teams were tied to specific bowls depending on what conference they were in. So, if there was no BCS this year and OSU is number two, you would have OSU in the Orange Bowl and LSU in the Sugar. Then if LSU lost in the Sugar and OSU won the Orange who would be NC?
