Rank the State Final Teams

It lets the BW fans feel good about a season where they didn't beat the teams they had to beat. But I guess you have to go thru the off season thinking something so it might as well be coulda woulda shoulda.

not BW fans. Just the vocal minority

I honestly think SC versus X would have been a fun game to watch. Scott's offense was much better than X's in my mind.

I believe that Scott County and Lou St. X may have been a good game too.

^ Cal Preps projects a 34-27 win for X.

They also had it

Mayfield 28

Hazard 21

Just sayin.......

I beleive Highlands did score a late TD on a long pass from Towles vs. the second or third team, (so they had 13 or 14 points) The scrimmage was played exactly like a game, both sides had some key injuries. Do we really want to get into this discussion?

It was 3-0 Trinity after 1 quarter when Highlands started subbing very liberally on defense. Trinity did not sub nearly as liberally on the O side until late in the 4th quarter. Trinity would have won the game that day regardless of the sub situation. It was played exactly like a game in that time was kept, etc., but Highlands subbed much more liberally on D than they did at any time during the regular season (excluding the blow out wins). So, Trinity scored some on Highlands second and third team as well.

As for the thread topic, the rankings...

I think T does not need explaining!!! WTG T!!!

I picked BGHS as number 2 because no one on this list, other than T, could have beaten us. I even had no less than 60 Highlands fans tell us they were very happy they did not have to play us Sat. night. They stayed and watched BGHS play the last game and the H fans were shocked!!! PH and I were sooooo proud of those H fans that can actually admit that BG could have.....I DID NOT SAY WOULD HAVE......beat them!!!! It was really nice to talk to those H fans.....It was a breath of fresh air not worry if I was going to make someone upset by believing in our guys......H is good, but, this year I really think the score would have been close with BG taking the game. That is why I picked BG as 2 and H as 3.......

I am also very proud of Big Blue for giving H a great game.....I was really pulling for these guys. What an upset if they had pulled it off!!!! WOW!! But, they did not. A better H team did.....Big Blue has nothing to hang their head over!

Bowling Green had more heart than anyone this year....PH and I were VERY fortunate to see different teams play.....and I really did not see the pride or heart that these guys had!!!

It was 3-0 Trinity after 1 quarter when Highlands started subbing very liberally on defense. Trinity did not sub nearly as liberally on the O side until late in the 4th quarter. Trinity would have won the game that day regardless of the sub situation. First I'll say this. I have mad Respect for the Birds & I also root for them. I've also gone on record saying that I Believe they are a National power but come on man, I was at the Highlands Trinity game. Highlands played the best kids they had on both sides of the ball to win, they simply were over matched by the Rocks. I paid close attention to subbing I even have the game on film. So please don't say Highlands subbed much more liberally on D or any other spot than Trinity.
