You make a good point... but angry players can easily turn into ugly/dirty players and I hope we don't see any of that.

 

I agree you dont make them angry, you use the material and the truth, you tell them we dont really know how good you are till you play the best, go out and play your game and give it 100% for 48 minutes and prove to yourself and everyone else how good you are.

I do wish Trinity was playing Highlands in something other than a scrimmage. If they were it would be a running clock. Trinity runs up the score because thats what they are 56-0 over Scott Co. Nice season Scott Co. Nice collection of football players for Trinity.

 

Do you always enjoy games with a running clock , or are you the #1 Highlands hater !! Your funny , does your team play Trinity , I guess not. If your team played Trinity this year , you would go for sure because they would also have a running clock! How do you know the outcome of a game before it's played , you got a crystal ball ? I am confident that Trinity will be very keyed up and ready to play. Beatty IMO is a very good big game coach.

 

A dad of one of the T players has been telling me for weeks that there has been some smack talk coming from Scott Co here lately. He told me the players and coaches are both aware of it. There will be no sneaking up on the Rocks this weekend.

T has always impressed me with their preparation for games. They are a well-coached machine and never take anyone for granted. It will be a total mismatch and nothing against SC. T is just that much better than anyone else in the state and SC has not played anyone at all to come close to preparing for what they will see on Friday.

In 2004 Scott County made the finals and were really expected to put up a threat to St. X. They trailed 35-0 at half on the way to a 49-9 loss. This Friday will be much the same, over at halftime. Trinity will ease off the throttle in the second half much as they did last year against Male.

I do not believe there has been any smack talk from coaches or players from SC. They will come in to this game knowing full well what T is capable of and will do there best to stop T on the offence side. We have not played this quality all year with this much amo for scoring. No one from Scott County believes the task ahead is going to be easey we just have to try to make the kid's believe its not impossible. For SC to do this it will take a perfect game and a lot of hart.

Trinity will win the 6A state championship and the Mythical National Championship.

I said 50 points above. I was wrong. I forgot my Tigers put 49 on scott a few years ago, and that was ulling the starters midway in the 3rd quarter. if T's starters are still scoring in the 4th, it will be at least 60.
