Hard to argue against the SEC when they've won 5 in a row, and 7 of 13 total BCS titles (7 of 12 if you throw out USC's year).

That's because the SEC is far superior to the Big 10.

I guess that just shows that college football fans in this nation recognized that those two Big 10 teams were not the best two teams in the country. The fact that Ohio St lost to Florida 41-14 and Michigan lost to Southern Cal 32 -18 in their respective bowl games, didn't do anything to disprove the national opinion. If the Big 10 had won either or both those games, than perhaps you would have a stronger argument. But it appears that the BCS got that one right. As for this year, I guess we will just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
