Well... the Cats at least managed 8 blocks vs Vandy. 298 on the year. 8.76 per game.

It will just depend upon how far they advance. I think playing outside of conference will give an advantage to build up some blocks.

Kentucky needs 18 to break the record. If they can make it to the second weekend of the tourney they have a great shot at it. It would not be out of the question for them to break it in 2 games--especially since they should be going against an outmatched opponent in round 1.

Gotta hope they get this record and add about 30+ to to put it out of reach.

Should be interesting, they've got a great shot. Be awesome to just add Kentucky's name next to something else in the record books.

5 in the first half tonight....Puts them at 303 for the year...12 away from tying, 13 from breaking the record.

With 5 games left I think they will break the record by 20+

Add 4 more for the 2nd half to give them 307....8 away from tying, 9 from breaking the record. Could do it against Iowa State on Saturday.

Davis also set the Kentucky record for most blocks in an NCAA tournament game with 7.

I'm going to predict that it will not happen Saturday, not very bold, but seems like Iowa State won't drive to the hoop as much. So, as long as our boys win, it looks like they should break in in the Sweet 16.

They should be able to put it way out of reach by the end of the tournament.

5 blocks against Iowa State leaves them 4 away from breaking the record.

99% chance they break it against the Hoosiers. 4 is the lowest amount we have had this season I think. I'm glad they're about to break it.
