You are correct. He has 74, the single season record is 83 held by Melvin Turpin and Andre Riddick. As a matter of fact he is already in 21st place at UK all-time. If he maintains anywhere near his current pace he will end up somewhere between 7th and 5th place all-time by the end of the season.

They've got 15 regular season games left, plus at least 2 more tourney games (1 SEC and 1 NCAA), so 17 games total.

They need 125 blocks to get the UK record, so 7.35 per game.

They need 167 blocks to get the NCAA record, so 9.76 per game.

If you give them two more games (19 total - 2 SEC T games and 2 NCAA T games), they can get the records with 6.6 or 8.9 per game.

7 more blocks tonight against Auburn give them 156 after 17 games for 9.18 per game. Davis is now in 5th place on UK's single season blocked shot list.

Davis has a shot of cracking the top 5 all-time in a SINGLE season.....That's absolutely remarkable.

8 more vs. UT for 164 total. 9.11 per game.

13 blocks tonight for 177 on the season. Davis owns the single season record for blocks now as well.

9 more blocks against Alabama. Kentucky now has 186 in in 20 games for an average of 9.3 per game.

130 until the all time record is broken.

10 blocks vs UGA. 196 total, 9.33 per game.

At least 12 games left (10 regular season, 1 SEC T, and 1 NCAA T), so they need:

6.5bpg to break the UK record

10bpg to break the NCAA record

(and Davis would be on pace to end up at 154 blocks)

Lets say they make 2 more tourney games, and they would need:

5.6bpg to break the UK record

8.6bpg to break the NCAA record

8 blocks vs. LSU. Up to 204 for the season. 9.27 per game.

Davis is up to 101. That puts him tied with Tennessee for 41st place amongst TEAMS.

Teague even got in on the action last night with 2 blocks.

11 blocks vs Tennessee. 215 for the season. 9.35 per game.
