How many yards did David Klingler throw for? Andrew Ware? Graham Harrell?

Don't forget Kolb!

Not really. But most of the better ones are not too far from the slop in the SEC this year. Arky's defense isn't even that impressive IMO. Alot of bad offense being played in the conference this year.

Top 25 Defense

Yards Per Game

SEC has 6 (Alabama, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Vanderbilt)

Big 12 has 1 (Texas)

Points Per Game

SEC has 5 (Alabama, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida)

Big 12 has 0

Passing

SEC has 6 (Alabama, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky)

Big 12 has 1 (Texas)

Rushing

SEC has 3 (Alabama, LSU, Georgia)

Big 12 has 2 (Texas, Oklahoma)

I don't care what they're ranked. There isn't a Gator or SC fan in the country who would say they have a good defense. Don't forget they play against each other. There isn't a really good offense in the SEC outside of Arky IMO.

I kinda figured that because it gets in the way of your argument...

I am predicting Trent Richardson mainly because there really isn't a major front runner anymore. I think Andrew Luck's loss probably cost him the Heisman. I will give the upper hand to Richardson because he will probably (unless there is a major upset) be playing in the title game.

Sadly the Heisman isn't about the best player in college football, but rather a popularity contest amongst the best teams and the best player on the best teams. Most of these guys who are getting hyped have the privledge of playing with other future NFL players. Even though Richardson has been doing what he has been doing against SEC defenses, he still has the big ole Bama' line to run behind. Although Luck may not have as many playmakers and threats he still plays on a pretty solid football team.

To me over the last few weeks the guy who should have earned the most respect and recognition is RG3. Griffin has now won 8 games, at Baylor!!!! In back to back weeks leads come backs and almost single handedly wins ball games. Came back from 21 down in the 4th quarter last week, now comes in and gets Baylor it's first ever win over Oklahoma this week in comeback late game fashion. The guy has just been amazing and sadly will probably not even get asked to go to NYC as a finalist. I mean Luck and Richardson have been impressive, but to me theres nobody in college football this season more deserving of being recognized as the best player in college football as Robert Griffin III. What he has done for Baylor and how much he means to the overall success of that team is far beyond any of the other heisman candidates outside of Luck and lets face it with that run game and defense Stanford would be okay without him just not great.

He is in most people's top two right now. The Heisman race is about big games late in the season that people get to watch. RGIII did himself well by performing well on a national stage. Good example is Ndomakung Suh a couple years ago being invited just based upon his performance in the Big 12 Championship game. That was always Beano Cook's rationale with the Heisman in that it would be a guy that does well against Notre Dame because they are always on television. The part about Notre Dame does not matter anymore, but the national exposure means a lot.

Montee Ball has scored at least 2 tds in every game this year. Most dominating running back in college football this year.

So everyone is just going to ignore Montee Ball?:idunno:

Is he deserving? Maybe

Will he win? No

IMO the Heisman should go to RG3. Andrew Luck or Trent Richardson will be the winner, though.

Apparently. He does appreciate your support, though.

RGIII is the best story. I don't think that makes you the winner.

He's more deserving than any of those three.

That's too bad. He makes a stronger case than any of the other nominees. He is the only person who hasn't had a bad game all year long. Why he isn't mentioned more shocks me.

No one giving Barkley any love?
