For the Heisman? Yes. Montee Ball has been better than Trent Richardson this season. Period. I put the numbers up for Alabama Larry so he'd understand that Montee Ball has faced defenses as tough as Trent has and he still has better numbers. I thought the Heisman is supposed to award the player who has had the best season. Trent has not been better than Montee this season. Montee Ball has been a touchdown machine this season. If he had received the preseason hype like Trent and Luck he would be the front runner right now.

Montee has the luxury of playing with a QB that was once considered a Heisman frontrunner. Trent is the playmaker on his team. Whether is it fair or not, that is what is going to hurt Montee the most.

No one giving Barkley any love?

:thumb: He is not getting any attention at all and should be in the conversation.

If not for USC being on probation I think Barkley would be getting a lot more love. Seems that since the Trojans cannot make a bowl game no one can win any individual awards either, or at least that's just the feeling or vibe I've got. I hate that for Barkley because he's had a great year but unfortunately I think USC being on probation has killed any chance he had.

92, is this the Wisconsin back? I have not seen him, what is their record? How come we don't hear much about him? Trent only has maybe one more game to show the nation he is the best back and complete team player, I'll try to watch your guy and give an honest report.

Is total numbers the best way to decide? When Mark Ingram won Trent got a bunch of carries and even scored some TDs that had to hurt Mark's total, same as Ed this season, who is your guy's back up RB? I wonder if you know.

James White is the backup. At the beginning of the season the plan was to use them both as a 1-2 punch of speed and power. Montee proved to be so dominant that he swallowed up a lot of White's carries. White currently has 611 yards and 6 tds. I don't start threads unless I have plenty of ammo. :D

I thought it was supposed to be the best player. Unfortunately, we're both wrong about that. In reality, it is neither of those things.

^If it were best player, the DB for LSU would win the award, but that isn't going to happen. I think Trent wins it, but I think Luck or RG3 should get it.

My ballot would be:

1) RG3

2) Luck

3) Ball (you've convinced me PP :D)

4) Barkley

5) Richardson

Montee has been the only consistent performer on the team. Wilson definitely takes away from Montee's shine. It's unfortunate. He'll likely be a front runner next year.

Keenum has the best numbers out of all the QBs.

Wisconsin is 9-2 and both of their losses came on Hail Mary passes at the end of the game. Michigan State and Ohio Stste beat them. He had 115 rushing, 1 rushing td, 24 yards receiving and 1 receiving td against MSU. He had 85 yards rushing, 1 rushing td, 30 yards receiving and 1 receiving td against OSU.

He faces Penn State this weekend I believe.

:D. I'm trying. I think Ball is deserving of a trip to NYC at the very least.

Nope. That is true.

Must be high school competition. That's the last time Newton looked good.

Sounds good, I hope he can go to NY, and let the best man win...Gino Torretta :idunno:
