^After watching the Wisconsin/Penn State game this past weekend, I'm firmly on the #monteeballforheisman bandwagon PP. He was toying with the Nittney Lions.

I have done better than them.

We disagree on the Heisman winner, but I'll give you that! :thumb:

Montee Ball leads nation w/ 34 TDs this yr..hasn't had a single carry in 4th qtr in 6 of 12 gms this yr..#'s need to be looked at 4 Heisman

So after the past two games against Arkansas and Georgia, anyone else think the Honey Badger should at least get an invite?

Bugatti, I believe it was you who said for defensive players to win it, they had to make the big impact plays in big games a la Woodson....How'd he do?

As expected he did extremely well. In all the big games, the Honey Badger has been a difference maker. Big reason he is picking up steam. He was #4 in ESPN voting last night. I have no doubt he has been the best player in the nation this season and my vote. He will get penalized for his 1 game suspension. But the funny thing about it is LaMichael James was invited to NY last year despite a suspension.

^Question about him, is he a sophmore or a junior?

^ Hopefully a junior so the Bengals can draft him.

The reason I ask is I haven't seen his name in any mock drafts. No way that guy isn't a top 10 pick. Claiborne is a concensus top 5-10 pick in all mocks I've seen though.

Sophomore.

RG3 looks hot right now, great player. Is the 3 for his team losses?

Andrew Luck

Robert Griffin III

Trent Richardson

Montee Ball

Tyrann Mathieu

The 5 finalists invited to NYC...

After looking at the list I'm going to guess Andrew Luck. Only guy out West.

I refuse to believe all 5 are better than Matt Barkley.

Of the 5 finalists, my ballot would look like this:

1) Tyrann Mathieu

2) Robert Griffin III

3) Montee Ball

4) Andrew Luck

5) Trent Richardson

I understand that either Luck or Richardson will most likely win, but if you really look at the stats, Ball and RGIII are the most deserving RB & QB respectively. I still say Mathieu is the best player though.

It seems odd that you give your vote to a defensive player/special teamer ie not a lot of big stats and then say that stats make you think Ball and RG3 are most deserving.

Rank them by your "best player" standard. Same?
