RG3 is trying to get a NCAA exemption to play next year while attending law school. He has already got his undergrad and is getting his masters. I'm pretty sure he has some things he wants to do before he goes to the NFL.

I'd be ok with RG3, Luck, or Richardson.

Matt Barkley has broken almost all the single-season QB records at USC, and there have been a lot of great USC QB's. I think he'll dominate the west-coast Heisman votes enough to take advantage of splits elsewhere.

The best player in college football this year has been Robert Griffin IMO. 74% completion percentage, 29 TDs, 5 Ints, plus 500 rushing yards and a handful of TDs. Not as outstanding as some of the others, but look at who he plays with. He's taken Baylor to heights they've never seen before. And now he has his Heisman moment. He won't win, but I think he should atleast be in NY.

In a conference that doesn't play defense.

He has another year if I'm not mistaken. He got hurt in week 3 two years ago. He will get a medical redshirt IMO for that year. Heck they gave Keenum 6 years.

On one of the 3 or 4 least talented teams in the conference. What conference does play defense besides the SEC? I guess Sam Bradford, Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush were poor selections?

Your "besides the SEC" is why I lean towards T Richardson.

So he gets the trophy just because he plays in the SEC? Why doesn't the SEC break away from the NCAA and just play in the AFC or NFC?
I still think Luck will win but there are a lot of choices one can make.

Keenum is a lot better than Luck! Keenum has throw for over 4,000 yards and only 3 INTs.

Trent Richardson..:ylsuper:

Good question.

You're smarter than the above comment.

How many yards did David Klingler throw for? Andrew Ware? Graham Harrell?

Well, we just give Richardson a pass because he's in the SEC? If you feel that he's been a better player than RGIII or anyone else fine. But if its because of defense Alabama has played one team with one defense clearly better than what Baylor has seen all season IMO. He was very good in that game, but not great. The Heisman is a crapshoot. Luck is the most talented player IMO, Richardson is the best player on a really great team, RGIII does more with less than anyone in the country.

Is there one good defense in the Big 12?

Is there one good defense in the Big 12?
Not really. But most of the better ones are not too far from the slop in the SEC this year. Arky's defense isn't even that impressive IMO. Alot of bad offense being played in the conference this year.
