All around a good game. One of the best games I've seen between 2 NKY teams!

There are a lot of years he would be considered the top QB in NKY. Runs the team at a high level and makes plays with his arm and legs. He has really impressed me in the three HC games I have called...

 

Lots of QBs in NKY putting up big numbers these days. He is certainly in the discussion and has done an outstanding job when you consider he was a receiver last year.

Congrats Covington Holy Cross Indians! I was expecting two teams from Campbell County to advance, but I'm quite happy for HC to get over the hump. Good Luck against the Jumpers!

Outstanding game. The coaching staff at HC deserves a pat on the back. Changed the offensive mindset enough to keep NCC not knowing. For those that ask why the cushion, HC would have went over the top on them if they played tight. The game was not lost by coaching calls. It was all on the field, great game boys.

Excellent! Congrats to the Indians! Somerset is a team with a pretty decent tradition. Should be a tough game. Hope HC establishes a new tradition of their own next week of being a state finalist.

Great job by the Holy Cross coaches. If the defense is going to play 10 yards off of you I say,"treat them like a scab and pick it till it bleeds". There was lots of blood tonight. For the life of me, what in the world was Wag's thinking??????

From the look of these stats it appears that the defense was on the field a long time. Great job by Holy Cross shutting down NC's O. Only 1 kid with 5 catches? Hitchew averages 4 yards a carry, Hayes even less? This one cost me lunch, good luck to Holy Cross. It looks like you have the tools to pull it off!

They definitely need to play somewhere other than Holmes. No one wants a light failure in a state semifinal game. If CCH had lights, that would be where they should play considering they are both Diocese schools. Scott seems to be the best fit for this game but someone mentioned construction at Scott. What is going on there? Their football field is all done right? Is it construction on the new road?

They are building a new field house right outside of the football field. Parking is a mess, field is in great shape.

Like many I didn't see this one coming. I knew HC's defense had improved but this game shows they've gotten over the hump.

I guess it wasn't a fluke that I picked them in the poll for some reason. Just had this feeling.

NCC was my clear favorite to win the title...now it is Somerset....
