Congrats. Two more wins. Bring it home to NKY

Hats off to HC, they played a great game. Congrats to NC on a great season. Just wondering what Wagner was thinking when he was playing back on coverage and HC was hitting all their curls and bubble screens for 1st. Not a good game plan by NC tonight and HC abused them in their holes on defense. Once again congrats to HC ok the win and don't let up next week and bring a state championship back to NKY in 2A.

BINGO.......... This has been the problem all year. I have no football coaching experience period, however I can quickly deduce (to derive as a conclusion from something known or assumed) that giving a 10 yard cushion WAS NOT the way to go. The NewCath defenders were being "carved up" like a Thanksgiving turkey. During a series early in the 4th they played them on the line and then for some unknown reason they went back to what resembled a prevent. This loss goes to the coaches IMHO. All I can say is Holy Cross played one heck of a game and they deserved to win, the Fuller kid is a gamer. Congrats to the Holy Cross team and bring home your first title, you deserve it.

Congratulations to the Indians, heck of a game.

Way to go HC, now stay focussed and bring back a ring.

Couldn't agree more, also didn't understand why they didn't go to Franzen (#6) more often. He had a good foot on the corner and beat him almost every play.

WOW! that is all i have to say. WOW. I am shocked.

My post looked exactly the same minus the that's all I have to say. I really am schocked though. Does this mean HC actually has a shot at state or was it just one game?

They definetly have a shot.

The Holy Cross players displayed a ton of confidence all night, and from early on it just had the feel that it was going to be their time. Fuller was the workhorse, but multiple others stepped up and made big plays all game.

After NCC scored to tie why in the world did they pooch kick, and to Pouncy at that. HC takes over at midfield and the path to victory was MUCH easier. Head scratching decision...

It looked to my like HC wanted to win and NewCath expected to win. NewCath missed several open WR for what would have led to big plays. Nice play calling by HC to dink and dunk all night, not sure what the D call for the Breds was.......Still nowhere close to a rival game. HC to win 5-6 more times next 10 meetings to become close to that. You cant win one out of ten and claim a rival. It would be exciting for both schools if that were to happen. Congrats to the Indians, go get that title!

Looks like Holy Cross vs Somerset...Anyone know where this will be at?

One of the better games i have seen in awhile! HC looked great and should have won by more. Congrats to HC and good luck!

I'm pretty sure we saw the state title game tonight. The Breds didn't come prepared, and Holy Cross took advantage. Slants, Flats, and screens all night. If that's all you have to do though, why not. I wish Holy Cross the best of luck, and hope they take home state.

Who said this wasn't a rivalry!!!!! Great game! HC well deserved, bring home a winner!

Congrats to Holy Cross. Bring it home to NKY! HC took it to NC from the get go.....they deserve everything. Win State

The only reason I see for a pooch is the weapons HC has to return a kick. Eric Walker and Jaylen Beal have playmaker spead and Walker took one back against NCC last year.

And a couple seam routes right up the middle for big gains as well...
