Really? Did Clines close down? I haven't been out that way in a long time..

They will never be able to get the smell of stale beer and cigarettes out of that place.

Glad to hear that they are staying open closer to where the restaurant was located; always liked their food. If they are going to be at where Clines is, it's closer to the AA which could potentially bring more business. I heard from someone that Clines had plans on closing at the start of the new year a couple of months ago.

They are open! Opened back up on Tuesday. Looking forward to heading over to see the new place.

My wife and I finally made it back last evening.

 

Special of the day was scallops. Outstanding! Great as leftovers as well. I had the Bayou Sampler - chicken, streak strips, shrimp, gumbo, beans and rice. Really, really good.

Great place to eat, not sure it will be the same without the slanted floors. Only place I know of after a few drinks you could walk straight as an arrow.
