I love this place but I don't think it will be the same at another location. They had great frog legs. Anyone else a fan of this place.?

Great place to eat, not sure it will be the same without the slanted floors. Only place I know of after a few drinks you could walk straight as an arrow.

Problems with the physical structure of the building. Too expensive to repair.

Clyde, location is just fine! It's on my way in. Actually seems far off the beaten path but was only a few miles from 275 and AA.

Hope they find another place with the same type of atmosphere. Moving up by the AA/27 interchange would be a shame.

My guess it would be too expensive and take too long to do. Hopefully they find a place soon.

As for Clyde's question, out of sight, out of mind. I'm sure, just like you mentioned, it seemed so far away. Lots of folks would never venture to find the place. They may have some issues with too many customers if they find the right location. I have found it to be a little pricey the last few times I stopped in though.

Such an awesome restaurant. Sorry to see it close. Hopefully it will reopen and be just as good.

There's gotta be a spot where they can open up in Newport on the Levee.
