I could care less who drinks. As long as they aren't driving, I don't care who they are.

The driver of the car, Warren, claims they went to the club but that noone drank anything. He claims TJ left because they didn't want media story to break, and mentions NOTHING about an altercation with the other driver. Cover up going on here, folks.

That's a good question. How do you know he is unemployed? I have on idea who that kid is so he could have a very wealthy family for all we know.

 

 

If they police didn't bother to give him a breathalyzer I don't really think anything can come of this right? If they suspected he was drunk they wouldn have taken it further I would assume.

I don't think it's a big deal. I did figure there was more to the story when it first came out though. Kids are kids and I'm glad no one was hurt after being hit by a drunk driver. What I find interestting is that everybody knows the drunk driver's name now. Scott 'you're that drunk guy who hit Terrence Jones' Roseberry.

Police don't have to give a "breathalyzer" for a public intoxication charge.

 

With that said, it sounds like Jones and the people in his car made this more than it was. No reason to leave the scene if you didn't really do anything wrong.

^ However, if you HAD been drinking and didn't want to get cited for A.I. by the police, there was motive to leave the scene and not return until it was out of my system. I don't believe Warren for one minute that they went to a club for a concert and all they drank was "bottled water."

 

The other thing of course is what Cal is spinning about it. Warren says nothing about an altercation and claims that he left because they didn't want publicity. Now Cal tells us this story about an alleged altercation.

 

The final thing is the no curfew rule. Really? Night before a game day?

Exactly. Since he left the scene there is no and never will be any evidence that he was "under the influence of alcohol". Give him a break. It's a Thursday night in downtown Lex that went bad. He nor Poole were hurt so let them learn their lessons and move on. Should the be disciplined for their actions though? Yes. No reason to be out that late on a night before a game. Let's be real though, their 20 year old kids.

Sober or not make an example of him and bench him tonight.

 

He's openly admitted that one reason he left the scene was so Cal wouldn't find out. That's enough for me.

That's one of the things that came to mind as well. Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!

Apparently Jones was really fired up and very unhappy with WLEX for reporting that he had been drinking. It's his word vs. "sources". I'm biased but I think I lean towards Jones on this one.
