According to another site, this is accurate. Jones & Poole were working out at the Craft Center until around 11:15 (Jones mentioned this on Twitter) & then they went to a place called Forte Night Club to see Wes Grams perform (the guy Jones recently did a rap with). Accident happened as they were heading back to campus. After accident, arguments began to break out & Jones left for fear of an altercation.

While he did not break any rules and I am fine with him playing, I think I would make an example of him and make him sit. Just from a statement standpoint to get he and the team focused from the onset.

Thursdays for me were spent a place called The Fieldhouse in Dayton. It was right down the street from the house I lived in my senior year. On Thursday and Thursday only, you could buy your first beer for $4 then every refill was only $1 and you got to keep your pint glass at the end of the night. I really miss those nights.

I would argue that part of this is Cal's fault. They should at least be on a curfew the night before a game. You give 18-21 yr olds freedom and they will abuse it most of the time.

Our players did not break any rules by being out last night. As of yesterday, this team did not have a curfew and our normal procedure is to begin the season without one. I usually let the actions of my team determine a curfew. However, because of the actions of a select few, this team has showed me an inability to make proper judgment and decisions that they’ve been given the freedom to make.

 

Therefore, going forward, this team will now have a curfew for the rest of the season. I will inform the team of a time later today.

 

We hold our players to a higher standard at Kentucky. They must learn that they’ve been placed in a leadership role and that every action defines this team, this state and its fans. As always, any additional punishment will be handled within the team.

 

I just heard this on wky news. I also 100& agree with Coach, a curfew is needed. Actually I am suporised that there wasn't one.
