November 11, 201114 yr Hearing rumblings of Jones being drunk and found on Alexandria Drive. Anyone hearing anything like this? I don't know anything, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was somewhat intoxicated which is the real reason he left the scene, not for fear of an altercation.

But the account on Calipari's web site differs from information obtained by LEX 18, which indicates Jones got in an argument with Roseberry after the crash, then left the scene in another vehicle. Sources say Jones was found at a location along Alexandria Drive and was "slightly under the influence with alcohol." November 11, 201114 yr From my understanding all the people in the wreck were taken to the hospital for observation, and everyone in the vehicle Jones was in were deemed sober.

November 11, 201114 yr If Jones wasn't driving, why is it an issue if he was drinking or not? Underage consumption. Probably not a big deal if he wasn't charged with it, but it ruffles some haters' feathers.

November 11, 201114 yr ^Like I said, I could care less if they're drinking unless it impacts their performance. Now if he was drinking and he was driving the car, then I have issues with it.

Being a college athlete is different. They are held to high standards. He especially shouldn't be partaking nights before games. On a personal note, I could care less if he drinks underage (I'm no hypocrite) as long as he doesn't get in trouble and hurt the team.
