I am sure that Joker is having a hard time with his ego by allowing Newton to be benched. I would be willing to bet if they go with Smith, it will be because Newton "isn't fully healthy".

 

As for Williams...it's hard for Major college coaches to start Walk ons over Scholarship players, especially at skilled positions.

Coshik has been the best runner in the UK football camp for two years now, but had to watch the coaches put other scholarship running backs ahead of him over and over again.

 

Don't think this coaches have egos and want to play the kid they recruited to satisfy their egos. I have seen it happen for over 30 years.

How many times have we seen kids get their chance only after someone gets hurt? Others seem to see the difference or recognize the "sub's" talent, but a coach that's at practice every day doesn't see it. Could it be that they don't want to see it? We have all seen it, on the high school and college levels.

Its pretty obvious to me that Joker has made some promises to Morgan and his family that he's finding hard to keep. Joker needs to man up, stop the drama and say, "After the way that Maxwell played Saturday night. He deserves a shot and our team needs a shot as well." "So we're gonna roll with a different QB to start Saturday night and see if we can get this ship back on the winning path."

 

That would be the end of story and no drama for Joker.

I just heard an interview on WDKY with Morgan Newton about Maxwell Smith. " He did pretty good...from what I got to see, he did pretty good...MADE A TON OF MISTAKES".

WHO IN THE WORLD DOES THIS BOY THINK HE IS? He does not think he makes mistakes? I wanted to throw a brick through my TV when I heard this. What has Joker created with this guy? I have never liked Morgan Newton and now I could care less if I ever see him play again.

It's gotten pretty bad over there. I bet Joker isn't dining out much right now. He's lucky football season is upon them. I hope they keep him around for awhile.

It is Thursday and Joker still has not named a starting QB for Saturday?????????????????? He says that after today's practice he will PROBABLY name a starter. I predict that if Joker is around for 2012, Randy Sanders will not be around. He has pushed Smith all week while Joker keeps dancing.

So who is ahead in the competition thus far? Joker or Sanders?
