Highlands 63 Ryle 14

HHS's Hayes sure looked good. Very fast and it was nice to see him deliver a pretty vicious blow while carrying the ball. Good stuff.

Kid is a tough runner.

His touchdown run was a thing of beauty. From where our angle, we coudn't imagine how he cut across all that traffic to get to the endzone.
And you would be wrong. Highlands may be the only exception. Ryle has 1500 kids drawn from a poll of 1500 kids. If you think any public outside of Louisville has a chance to annually compete in 6A your wrong.

I think your missing Clyde's point .He is saying compete in 6A , not win it. If they have the attitude of the bolded , they will never compete nor ever win it.

Trinity is on cloud nine for the next year due to the talent level they have. After that the talent level may come down a little bit. So in the next two years if Ryle makes big strides they could improve and compete. When I read threads about Ryle , it seems every year they have their sights set on a district title and thats it.

Ever hear the phrase "aim for the stars , if you don't hit them you may come closer than you think " Ryle needs to believe and set their sights higher.

I tuned in late on Ihigh. Did HHS have some freshmen in?

I think you missed my point. I said complete annually. Meaning they will have unavoidable down years. It's just the way it is when you have no control over your talent poll. I've used this example before but will again. Henderson has 2100 kids total. Those 2100 kids (1050 boys) come from a total pool of 2100 kids. Trinity has 1400 boys that come for a talent poll of how many? Point is they can reload better than any public outside of Louisville. The fact is you play with kids that you have and that come out for the team. What ever that number is.

My main issue, if true, is, why schedule such a tough game 10 opponent if you're not going to play?

Not for nothing...but I do believe it's, "Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land amongst the stars"....

I'm guessing I should know what LTI means but I can't come up with anything.

Hey MBKT, so how do you think they measured up? Coaching and game?

How many TDs did PT have tonight?

PT was 14 for 25 for 330 yards with 4 TD passes, all in the first half. I think he is getting close to Jared lorenzen's HHS school record for career TD passes. Unofficially he needs 15 to tie Lorenzen's school record.

I agree BG

Passer, is that really you?

Been awhile.
