Amazing. I just can't imagine St. Louis losing tomorrow.

That was an awesome game to watch even though the Cardinals won.

Ice in their veins. Wow. Could not imagine what it's like to be a Cards fan tonight, let alone for the last 2 months.

Yep, Washington has some 'splainin' to do after this one. My biggest complaint would be taking your closer out of a game where you want your closer on the mound.

Agreed, I would have left him in.

Well, I guess that's the way the World Series is supposed to go, but it's not the way I wanted it to go!

I wouldn't be so quick to give it to the Cardinals. After tonights game they have even more pressure to win I think. Plus, Pujols has not been clicking, and neither has Furcal. I doubt that Texas makes the same mistakes tomorrow night.

Blow out.

Would it be a fair question to ask why Wash didn't bring in CJ Wilson to force Berkman to bat from the right side?

Saw that mentioned on Twitter.

I actually felt good when the St. Louis kid (who won the game) got the hit in the 9th. Didn't want to see him be the goat in that situation. But the Rangers had way too many chances with two outs and two strikes to end this one. Hope they (Texas) can come back and win tomorrow without it being even slightly close. Tony La(lose)a needs to be crushed.

In the update thread they were hard on Cruz but what Elvis' play?

At that stage of the game, I actually would have let Feldman hit with two outs and come back out to pitch the bottom of the inning.

For those of us old enough to remember; as I watched the game unfold I was reminded of that old SNL skit - "The Thing That Wouldn't Leave".
