Bishop Brossart has 4 kids 6'6 or taller.. Joe Jennings is 6'8 250 pounds he should be pretty good. 6'6 senior Austin Trentman should have a good year also along with 6'6 Sophomores Alex Trentman and Drew Burns.

Schoonover will be in action this Saturday at 3pm at Community Christian i would like to go check him out. Im always up to see new talent.

I did and i really enjoyed my visit there. Alot of very nice people. I talked to their head coach who told me he assisted under Jeff Trame and Brad Carr for a while. Schoonover was solid Saturday they played a homeschool team from Lexington that had alot of size and was pretty solid. Schoonover went for 15points and had 12 rebounds. Clemons the other good guard led them in scoring with 20. Schoonover is solid i was impressed with his poise and his willingness to get others involved on offense. I felt like he could score when he wanted to but he was always making the extra pass and is very smart. He had a very nice block that was called a foul when he pinned another player against the backboard. He didnt shoot alot this game and didnt really have to Clemons and another kid were nailing shots so Schoonover just guarded, rebounded and scored when needed. I talk to him after the game and he said for everyone to come out and see them play this year. Seems like a great kid. I got a schedule so i will be going back again soon.

No....could not compete in the 9th. They have a couple of nice players and Schoonover is a legit top 10 player in the area but no depth.

I dissagree I think they would compete and beat smaller 9th schools. From what I saw Saturday they are talented enough to beat some smaller schools. I dont want to really say names of schools and cause a stir. But I could see this team competing with Dayton and Villa and Ludlow. I honeslty think they are better. No they don"t have the depth or incoming players every year to compete with the Scotts and Simons of the world but Schoonover and Clemons would start on any team in NKY. I agree with 4point.

I was told last year by an official who did some of their games that they could beat half the teams in the 9th Region.

I would add Pike to the mix as well. He and Hatton are a great pair on the court. Alot of swagger.

If he doesn't get into foul trouble as much this year, then yes.

When I think about a team being able to compete in a region I considered the whole region not just the smaller schools that typically make up the back end of any region. Schoonover is very good and could start for any team in N Ky. Cleamons is solid but there are teams who he would not start for but he would be a contributor on any team.

I noticed that too.

Stansbery is the best player on that team and possibly in the 9th. He does it all, can shot, run the floor, finish, and defend, he's my favorite player in the region. Hitchew is my number 2, he just plays so hard and is fun to watch.
