Top Players in NKY

I think you gotta include McDonald in that list as well. I havent seen him yet but the kid is scoring points and against good competition.

I also think Stansberry should be in there as well. I really like his game, he will flourish in college where he will be able to play facing the basket. Best pull up jumper I have seen thus far next to Ruthsatz who I have seen on video.

Good point. I forgot McDonald. He's #10 .

I go back and forth on Stansberry. I am thrilled he has started playing "tougher" than he did to start the season. His banged up nose and the fact he came back that night after getting it whacked says a lot.

I would include them and say yes.

I would include Gallatin's Travis Davis. Kid has sick ballhandling skills and changes speed as good as anyone in NKY.

I cannot comment on the kid as I'm unfamiliar with him. I fully appreciate that schools like GC and Owen Co are running quality programs but we in the northern 3 counties just don't know them so generally when you see NKY on BGP it's those 3 that kids/schools pull from.

Morgan is probably GC's best player.

I can see him moving "way up" the list by seasons end if continues on this pace.

I haven't seen all the teams yet but here's where I'd rank them based on what they've done so far.

1. Campbell

2. McGovney

3. Hatton

4. Ruthsatz

5. McQueary

6. Rice

7. Burger

8. Stanley

9. Hightchew (early - could move up a lot by year end - inconsistent)

I haven't seen SK so I have no clue about the Chambers kid.

We'll see how Stansberry and Hatton do against NKY competition......apples and oranges the level of competition that they have played against vs some of these on the list.

Haven't we already seen how they perform against NKY competition? They both started last year, correct?

The thread is about this year correct?

OK. But I was just a little confused. They have played against NKY competition this year as well as last. Not sure I am following you.

I just think it will be interesting to see how they perform against NKY competition after the December schedule they've played.

That's all.....we'll see.

He has a lot of upside but he wasnt their best player on the floor when I saw them in SK's summer camp. That team has some big beefy boys on it and will have a lot of success on the boards.

Just needs not to turn the ball over so often on offense. Don't think his guards help him that much. Does move quite well for a big guy.

I'm not some rookie who looks at stats. I go off of what I see in person.
