Maybe the best thing to do in the future is to get rid of the Championship game.

The freshman are limited to 10 games. leaving everybody having an open 10th week.

I believe the goal of freshman football is to developing future players, so IMO it is better to play 10 games and get as much playing time for the kids as possible.

^ This sounds like a very good idea, IMO.

You know what happens when you "assume?" Double standards exist for Boone Co HS within the Boone County School system. The board favors them for many athletically motivated decisions. Still waiting for the next Shaun Alexander, I "assume".

I was making a point which obviously went over your head.

And even Shaun wasn't enough...

Boone and Dixie not playing would be teams avoiding each. Had chance to reschedule game for this week, but one of the schools refused.

And that is the decision of the schools head coach as pointed out by another poster!

Perhaps you need to add another emoticon!

This one:

If Dixie wins

Dixie is 6-1

Highlands and CovCath will both be 6-2

Boone will be 5-2 (isn't that correct since they did not play Dixie?)

Are my facts correct about the records of the teams or am I missing something?

If Boone beats Cooper this week, they'll be 6-2 as well.

Not in District play.

At the end of the day this looks like a cluster that has no possibility of being fair outside of a playoff or just making Dixie the Champs assuming they beat Ryle.

Who's in the running for the small school title? Is it easier to figure out?

Scott is playing NCC at Scott tomorrow in one of the Semifinal games. Beechwood plays Holmes in the other.

Beechwood is playing Moeller tomorrow (Thursday). Then they are playing NCC the next Thursday for the small school title. That is what I have been told.

CovCath beat Simon Kenton by a score of 7-0. See thread for the game details.

Vor, what was the score of the regular season matchup? I know the Tigers won, but just don't know by how much

I believe Beechwood won by about a two touchdown spread. Something like 26-12 maybe?
