My 2 cents:

100 years ago in our society the mindset of every other team in a 100 mile radius would be trying to figure out how to get better and beat T. Today it's "They must recruit", "They don't have as many CSAA kids", "Let's boycott them", or "they are (fill in the blank)". Get over it. T is good. Very, very good. Instead of the "woe is me" why not aspire to be better? I for one am thrilled that T is branching out to Nashville and Cincinnati because those places operate at another level. Ask anyone who has attended a game at Brentwood, Bowling Green, any Cincinnati school, (or T or X), and they will tell you they are light years ahead of the way public schools in Jefferson County operate. Now having said that I hope Manual brings their "A" game on Friday night. (Of course I hope they don't do what they did in 2003, which was to beat a pre-season national top ten team on their home field!)

And I thought Mattingly was the reason the score was not more lopsided. He might not (ok, would not) start at QB at T, but he would most certainly start somewhere for the Rocks. He was the MVP for the first half from either team. Of course Wright's role is much different than Mattingly's and thus it is really pretty silly to try to compare them. And yes, the guyI was sitting with noticed Wright audibling lots of times throughout the game with very good results. Average fans don't notice that.

I would say no...at this point I would say that Louisville has as good a chance as any national power does, to get them.

It is my guess that Quick and Hatcher will go to a school in the SEC, Big Ten,, Pac 12 or Big 12. IF UL joins the Big 12 then UL will have shot at the players.

Are you kidding me. Wright is a pure quarterback! Mattingly is a running back trying to be a quarterback. Let's see... Mattingly directs a broken play (1) touchdown in the entire game. Wright directs a 34 point offense (one TD was a 65 yd punt return by special teams stud Ryan White). Once T adjusted in the second half, Mattingly spent a lot of time running for his life. Zero first down until 4 minutes to go in the game. IMHO, I will take Wright over Mattingly any day of the week. I will say... Mattingly played his heart out. FYI! A one dimensional scheme will not beat this ROCK team. You could tell Glaser was struggling knowing he had to throw the ball to keep up. Good win ROCKS!
