Trinity has an excellent shot at an undefeated season, a GCL beatdown (in a strong year for the GCL), another 6A title, and a top five finish in the USA Today super 25. Pretty good season.

 

Elder on the other hand, is now staring 5-5 dead in the face. Still have games with St. Ed's (Ohio's top ranked team and a top 10 USA Today team), Moeller, St. X, and Highlands. Those are just off the top of my head.

Where can I find Trinity's schedule??? I've tried on the web for quite a bit.

 

http://www.khsaa.org is always a good source as well as what others have said. If T goes undefeated they should finish in the top 5 in the nation IMO. If they keep winning the way they have thus far, they should really win a national title, but whether or not they do is a whole other story.

Nice job T. I said three td's but once I heard the halftime score I wasn't going to be shocked by the final score.

 

I know any team can be beaten but I have strong feeling this isn't going to happen this year and maybe even on the next two years.

 

By the way, what was up with the radio broadcast? Field reporter came through pretty clear but Wayne & Jason sounded muffled or something. A lot of cross over.

The Trinity players are probably lifting weights right now at the Marshall Center. You still have to work even if you are blessed with talent. Beatty knows this.

Just got home and boy was that worth the trip. T was as good as any high school team you could want to see tonight. And as for Elder, I have never been around more hospitable and gracious fans. Everyone there was fantastic. And their student section was huge and the kids stayed on their feet cheering right up until the end of the game.

 

It was the loudest cheering section I've heard at a football game.

That would be great , but I think it's a little to late .

 

Does anybody know the rules of high school intensional grounding ? The reason I ask is , they don't call it in one game , then it's called on a game that I'm listening to on the way home. The only difference is , one was in Ky and the other was in Ohio. Are the rules different from one state to another ?

I left when the backup running back killed T on the 2nd drive of the 2nd half and they went up 42 - 0.

 

T is so good that you cannot even tell how good the other team is.

 

I sat next to a DL for Moeller tonight. He was in awe like the rest of us but he has to line up against them unlike the rest of us.

Same exact scenarios , different calls . One no call at Highlands game last week , and Elder got called for it and penalized last night.

 

While I'm thinking about it , the announcers for Elder didn't like the fact that Trinity was still blitzing while being up 49-0. Oh well !!
