St. X has a huge TE who caught everything.

Even the national guys on Twitter were talking about this beatdown.

 

I thought T would win comfortably, but wow!

 

When was the last time Elder got handled like this at the Pit? Let's hope for a ky sweep when the Birds head across the river later in the season.

 

That would be great if it happens and I believe that the chances of it happening are fairly good.

My wife is ecstatic on this score. She works with an Elder grad who has been berating KY football for years. We'll see him at a party tomorrow night. Can't wait.

Let's keep perspective. Outside of T (this year) he is probably right. One team in one year doesn't change much, but is awesome while it lasts.

Congrats to Trinity. What a win! Cincy St. X is in store for a beatdown, I predict.

 

When I saw Trinity's schedule shortly after it came out, I thought for sure Trinity would lose at least 2 or 3 games en route to a state title. Now, if I had to bet money I'd predict they go undefeated. I think we're looking at the best team in the country, and I think this will be proved as the season progresses.

Can't wait to hear what my Elder friends have to say about this one. They weren't giving T any respect. I'm serving the crow raw so they feel it for a few days.

I wish fox or espn would pick up the T vs Cincy X game.

As I mentioned in the THS-Elder game thread, all of a sudden that 38-14 preseason scrimmage Highlands loss to Trinity in Louisville is looking pretty good for the Bluebirds... may be the closest game Trinity gets all year (and I'm being totally serious, BTW).

 

Keep it up Trinity. I hope the Shamrocks beat Cincy St. X like a drum and then kick Moeller's teeth in.:madman:

I saw that the stud frosh RB scored on a long run . Looked to be over 50 yards.

Just my opinion, but I think that Mr. Quick would be wise to continue his education at the next level at a Catholic institution. Maybe someplace that is a nice little drive up US 31 from Louisville.

 

I think he can do better than that.
