No, I didn't miss those posts by you. As the moderator/originator, I feel as though you would have taken a more neutral side on this topic. Of course, I realize what sells memberships for this website. I do not have the time, nor the patience or the technological expertise to go back and copy all of your posts on this thread and others where it seems to me that you've been more than one sided. Let's just say that we'll agree to disagree on your stance.

I certainly do not agree with what has happpened. I think it has been terrible - for both parties. There has been a lot of lives that have been turned upside down. My simple point is this - the lawsuit is someone's opinion on what happened, it is up to the court to decide whether or not that opinion is something that can be validated or not.

I do know the Sullivan family and they are good people. Obviously, there are going to be some people on here that have different opinions. I'm okay with that but rushing to judgement and making decisions about giving schools the "death penalty" without hearing both sides is ludicrious.

As far as I'm concerned, Guru seems to be pretty neutral on the topic, although he's making relevant points based on his experience in such matters.

You, on the other hand, seem a bit biased.

Your opinion is noted other than I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to Guru. Appreciate it though....

When you post it here, you're sort of talking to everyone ... appreciate the sentiment, though.

Well isn't that pretty convenient for you. If what you say is true (I am not neutral enough) the "smoking gun" is right here in this thread but instead of copying and pasting (the most basic of computer skills) you would rather go with your admitted biased opinion... rolleyes.gif

And for someone that doesn't have the time, you had enough time to take a reference (death penalty) from another thread, which is a different issue, and attempt to apply it here to support your biased opinion.

Let's cut to the chase Weakside, by your own admission the Sullivan's are your buddies and you are sticking up for them.

According to the report he admitted to an incident at the very least harrasing a 13 year old girl. How he has supporters here and in other places is confusing. Nobody is saying that everything in the suit is factual. People are saying that the admitted crime is bad enough if nothing else happened. If any of the other stuff in the suit is correct especially the principal that stopped one incident and the family being notified of a police investigation that makes it much worse.

:thumb: Right on SSC. He has admitted his guilt to his actions with a 13 year old and that is indefensible.

May sound like a stupid questio, and guru you may be able to shed some light on this being from a law background.. What kind of time frame are we looking at for a decision from the courts on this? I know the judicial system can take its sweet time, but in this case you would think WV would want to put this behind them quickly... just wondering if anybody knows where this is in that regard...

Why send threatening texts if nothing happened?

There are several factors that go into it and it could be anywhere from a few months to a couple years. I think it will depend on two factors, one, how much of what has been alleged is true, and two, how bad does WV want to make this go away.

I call for a "BIG GROUP HUG", who's with me.

Why send threatening texts if nothing happened?

Exactly. If Sullivan had any wiggle room, he wouldn't have pled guilty. I have no doubt the evidence of his guilt was incontrovertible and he should feel lucky with the light sentence that he received.

Totally agree. That's why I'm baffled by the supporters.

Isn't that what started all this!?

I believe that actions speak louder than words.

I also believe that the acorn does not fall far from the tree.

What do you mean by this statement?
