Does anyone know of schools that does Prayer before a game over a speaker? No one commented on the fact here we don't do it, yet I lose no sleep over it.

You need to get rid of the "majority rules" thinking. It doesn't apply to law nor should it.

Clyde I believe you might be wrong on this one. Doesn't majority rule on the supreme court when a case is ruled on? They don't all always agree on the law and I might be wrong but majority rules I think.

I guess you would have to the verses of the context of why we are prayng. We pray for our food if in a group everyone hears, Romans 14:6 we give thanks for blessings, Ephesians 5:20, Give thanks forever, Psalms 30:12, Pray with out ceasing 1st Thessalonians 5:17, so it has to be taken where is there a passage on the right way to pray.

 

Most people when they pray bows their head and closes their eyes, no passage say to do that. when Jesus prayed he looked up to the Father in Heaven, Paul says to lift your hands in Holy Prayer, so Jesus might not say to Pray in a crowd to be heard but he does say to pray in everything in my name.

 

How about a bottom _________________, we are not gonna change our mind about Praying, even though there are no prayers at our games here, and the non believers are not gonna change their's either, free will, which is given by God.

 

But, I'll keep going as long as y'all want to, well I do have a game in a few hours where there will be no prayer except through me. But, I'll ask our AD about it and get his imput. I know the answer.

I have been at events at Graves County where it has been done ... in part, possibly, because the principal is also an ordained minister.

Why is prayer done outloud to begin every session of Congress? Why doesn't every Congressman and woman pray silently to their "own" God? I am sure this will be under attack soon. Just give it time.............btw, the Chaplain in Congress is paid with U.S. tax dollars. WOW!
