Answer me this....Why does it matter if you say the prayer in private compared to public? That way, those that believe in different gods can say a prayer to their god instead of having to partake in a prayer to a god they don't believe in.

 

In this case, I doubt there are many believers in different gods at Bell Co. I have not known of any Buddhist, Hinduism, etc to be there. Now in NY maybe, but not Bell Co.

Tolerant for me is not going out and making a scene in public and trying to get traditions destroyed. I may not agree with homosexuality, but i dont go to their parades and demand they stop because its an abomination. I dont cry to the courts and say a gay person cant adopt, even though i feel it is wrong.

Yes, I believe that Christianity, Catholicism specifically, is the way to heaven, but I'm not certain of this, as are none of you. God told us not to judge, so I will not judge those who don't believe as I do. I will NEVER try to impress upon others what I believe. Every single one of us have our own free wills to believe what we feel is the truth, and I will not subject those that believe differently from me to my beliefs. What is so wrong with having a moment of silence before the game. That way you or I can pray to our God, while Muslims can pray to theirs, Jews can pray to theirs, and atheists can have a moment of reflection. Why must we all try to jam our religious beliefs down others throats?

I believe that people are free to choose their god. I have chosen mine. You have chosen yours. Heck, I believe you can choose to NOT have a god. We'll all find out in the end what the means. I also believe in the rule of law which can sometimes be in direct conflict with a religion. However, in this case the country is NOT saying that me, you, and cousin Bill are forbidden from praying so I see absolutely no issue with the law of the land. So when you say I'm arguing "the other way" it's really me having the ability to discern.
