i don't think anyone in this post has seen X practice nor scrimmage, so any prejudgements are most likely 100% ill-conceived and false.

I will start by saying tthat I have not seen X play or scrimmage, but I have followed them for nearly fifty years. I expect this to be a good year for X. They were spanked last year. That is hard to take for a proud program. I expect this years X team to have worked harder than ever in the off season. I expect that the coaches have lived in the film room in developing schemes for this year. I expecct the players to subordinate personal goals to team effort. Anyone that takes X lightly this year will be in trouble.

Serious question, is it everyone else's opinion that has driven you from posting or the negativity that your team gets that irks you? And I ask not to post a barb, I'm simply curious. Or am I way off?

Since you are a mod, I will respond. You are way off. It is because of neither of your questions. It is because of being talked down to, being called names, and being insulted among other things, if you have an opinion that certain posters on this site don't like or agree with. I was told by a mod to grow thicker skin and the barbs continued. This goes on in other forums also, not just high school football. The best thing we can do is not post. That is it in a nutshell.

I will be pleasantly surprised if X plays T within 3 TD's. X is X, minus any semblance of a stud running back or menacing offensive line. Trinity is just off the charts good. Not since the 84 team that featured the Gardner brothers, Andy Murray and Mike Pfeiffer have they had this much talent.

I think that you get that type stuff on an opinion based message board. Lots of sniping back and forth. But in the end, it's no more than that. Sometimes you have to consider the source. The passion we all have as fans of our teams as well as the fact that you have parents on here who get offended occasionally, well, makes this board (especially in this forum) dicey from time to time. However, if those posts are within the rules, they remain. I do wish you'd reconsider and post whatever is on your mind. I, for one, would like to hear your opinions.

St.X beat that T team as I recall. BTW I have not been hiding I have been without a computer since the first week of May its nice to be back on board.

If something is outside of our user agreement or excessive please please please report the post. I personally review every reported post and when members do a good job articulating their point we are normally able to find a solution.
