July 24, 201115 yr Cozart has a hyper extended wrist. Was it his wrist or elbow, because I believe MLB Network said elbow? Also, can you hyper-extend a wrist? Much like the TV guys said, it looked similar to Pujols when it happened, but by all accounts it isn't that bad.

He was holding his elbow, but on the replay it looked like his wrist got wrenched pretty badly. He had extended for a ball and I think it was McLouth who slid into him. He spun to the ground and immediately grabbed his elbow.
July 24, 201115 yr Author I'm sure that Pauly Janish is back in Cincinnati for tonight's game. Oh well at least he is 9 for his last 15 @ Louisville. Maybe that will equate to at least 1 hit per game from the light hitting shortstop. What happens when Cozart comes off the DL which he is probably headed for?
July 24, 201115 yr I was glad to hear that Cozarts x-rays were negative. I just wonder how long that he will be out, that type of injury could linger. I sure hope that he is back soon but I honestly look for him to be out a while (dl).

July 24, 201115 yr Author With Rolen and Cozart out for a while I hope to see Frazier get some more PT. Sounds like Cairo and Frazier splitting time from Dusty's comments on mixing and matching with them. You know Dusty and his numbers. I don't know where he gets the stats for Frazier but I'm sure he'll come up with them. I would prefer to see Frazier there regularly so that they can see what they really do have or not have for next year at third.
