July 24, 201115 yr What happens when Cozart is ready to come off the DL if Janish is hitting say .250? Depending on the severity of Cozart's injury, I think the likely scenario is once Cozart is able to play, he goes to Louisville for rehab and then comes back up in September.

As much as we have hammered on the Reds' offense, Pittsburgh amazes me with how they keep winning with one fo the most horrible offenses I can recall from a contending team. I guess they are proving that pitching wins.

It's a shame because he showed more promise at the position in a couple of weeks than Paul and Edgar did in 3 months.

Watched the replay a couple of times. I don't see how Cozart's injury is on Votto. He got to the ball quickly, spun, and threw. Yeah, his momentum could've been moving toward the target a little bit better but it's a bit much to put that on him, IMO.

Yeah, his momentum could've been moving toward the target a little bit better but it's a bit much to put that on him, IMO. It was a terrible throw into the runner. I know he is not trying to get people hurt but if you listen to Marty and the Cowboy a lot they bring it up just about everytime there is a play where Votto has to make a throw. They both say that his throws are lackadaisical and that he hangs the defender out dangerously a lot of the time.
